I thought St Neots stepped it up in the second half and the quality and fitness then shone through to win the game but full credit to the Huntingdon youngsters who battled throughout and special praise to their keeper, Hunt, who I thought had a cracking game.....probably their man of the match and Ross Sommers who held it all together for them until going off with a nasty ankle injury. Well done to both teams for producing a great semi final

yeah good words abbotsleysaint, the injury 2 sommers really knocked us, i feel we worked hard and looked threatening! but after ross went off we lost a bit of shape! i feel the score line was flattering but credit 2 st neots fot taking their chances! had 2 be the local lad ricky dear with the first goal, was a good goal though! good luck in the final

Thank you Abbottsley saint. It really is good to see an opposition supporter praising the Huntingdon youngsters. After all they are young. Ryan Hunt (18) Tom Moran (18) Ross Sommers (24) Dan Meston (20) Rick Marheineke (24) Lee Bassett (17) Mark Ling (20) Paul Nevil (21) Paul Bass (19) Tom Polis (18) Dan York (18) Carl Foreman (21) Lee Milton (18) and not forgetting Andy Rossi (97) So I think Gary Ling has done a brilliant job to bring them into a cup semi final and mid table respectability. Yes St Neots were too strong, and they were always going to win, but the young lads showed their determination to stand up and be counted. Good luck St Neots hope you win it.
