tough game for Burton last night cogunhoe looked a very good side. still made a couple of good chances but the speed in which the home side moved the ball was to much. you can see the difference in the leagues by the changes that wtfc felt necessary to make from last season and they were undefeated!.thanks for the hospitality and all the best for the season

We did look good last night but in all fairness burton were awful. the number 4 was a donkey! i think you will struggle, but because of your complimentary statement on our hospitality i hope you don't!

[glow=red,2,300]Thats a bit harsh!!
I thought Burton looked good in patches... but there's no need to criticise individuals, i think they struggled to deal with our pace on the flanks and how busy we are uptop, the difference between the two sides was that we took our opportunities in the 1st half and they diddnt
Best of luck for the season![/glow]

As you said comptonparker we got absolutely crucified on the wings, where did you find them rockets from! In all fairness i thought the first half was quite even and we should have had a couple ourselves, But as i said at half time if you don't take your chances teams of this standard will punish us, and you did. ( all be it a very soft goal at the back post for your first ) 2nd half your passing was as good as I've seen for along time and your wide men came into there own. All the best for the season, keep playing like that and it will be a very good one.

It was a reasonably tight first 30 minutes until Cogenhoe found joy using the extremely quick right winger, simple tactics of spraying the ball into the channels from the centre midfield worked well.

Jonny Burdett also had an excellent game in the middle, and he was the manager's MOM.
Well done to both lads!
