after extra time. Buckingham won 3-0 on penalties.

after extra time. Raunds won 4-2 on penalties.

A very good match at Newport Pagnell. End to end stuff with both teams breaking quick. Newport Pagnell i would say having more possession, play and chances, but unfortunately they could not find the finishing.
The Robins took the lead through Reuben Max-Grant on the 25th minute through a very soft goal for NP to concede.
Newport equalized in the second half through Vinny Shrieves in the 79th minute.
1-1 after full time.
Then half way into the second half of extra time Buckingham had two players sent off. One full pulling vinny down when he had a 1 on 1 with the keeper (he had to go) and the other through a poor challenge which he received a second yellow. But Newport could not take advantage of the two extra men for the last 7 minutes!
Penalties - Something tells me Buckingham had practiced penalties or Newport hadn't. One thing i will say is the Buckingham goalkeeper is a very good shot stopper and very good at saving penalties as each Newport penalty was taken well.
Myself and Swansong felt Newport played well last night and felt they did not deserve to loose, they were unlucky. One of those nights.
A very good entertaining game! The end result wasn't quite right!
