Boston were unluck to lose this one and certainly not by the final scoreline. They could and should have been at least two goals to the good at half time, but found themselves a goal behind after conceding a soft goal to Wisbech's only real attack in the first half. Worse was to follow when the home side doubled their lead immediately after half time. Boston were back on the attack after this and might have scored two or three but slightly tentative finiishing let them down and whilst they continued to push forward they conceded two more goals towards the end of the match. Poor ground, poor pitch and dare I say it poor goalkeeping by the Boston keeper.

Good overall for UCL clubs... interestingly, there are match reports of all the UCL games involving Northants teams on BBC Radio Northampton (104.2 & 103.6 FM) between 5.45 and 6pm every saturday. Spencer and Cogenhoe reports were interesting... apparently Spencer weren't all that good despite scoring 5!
