To clarify no Peterborough Sports proved worthy winners and played the game the right way. It means allot to teams when you get to a final so you can understand the tension etc.
Lets hope next years Junior Cup is as exciting as this years. Though UCL sides won't maybe agree this years results etc has helped promote the cup and the importance.
I will think you will find that a Kisl player was also booked twice.

No show Cam, theres a shock!!!! Your old mate salad dodger here. I havnt come on here to gloat, far from it.From the moment Kislingbury Football Club staff stepped off their coach to the moment they got on it they were nothing but a credit to their club. The management made themselves known to myself and were a great bunch of lads.Even you Webby lol.As for their manager being called "gobby" in a previous post may i say i found him to be a very passionate man regarding his team. And very very gracious in defeat.Even he didnt commend some of his teams tackling.I though their number 7 was an awesome player and ran the show for them and i was so glad to see him get cramp and finally come off. Then the sending off turned the game in our favour. The rest is of course is history now and i am very proud along with everyone associated with Peterborough Sports that in the clubs 98 year history this is the first Junior Cup victory.Once again commisserations to Kislingbury Football Club.

tompsl & pborosportstar,
Although it hurts to say it I would like to congratulate you on your victory. It goes without saying that its a tough competition to win and all of us would have loved to have been there with our respective clubs.
Thanks for pics although I couldn't open one of them.
Who knows maybe we'll draw each other next year???

tompsl .... i think you just about summed up the night perfectly. Well done to you all! Thought it was a cracking game of football that on another night might have seen 7 or 8 goals......
A credit to local football....
To all - Yes occasionally things get heated but then its a passionate game and that's why we are all either involved whether playing or watching.

Tommo I know we could not make the friendly at the start of this season but did say we would bring the squad over pre season 0708 for a double header and make a day of it at your place. At the time of course we never thought we may be cup and league winners (we still have to close out our bit) but if you guys are still up for it then please give us a shout. Could be a bit like the old Charity Shield ;D
