Yes I am sure the first Daventry Derby will be a good cup encounter however I am sure the two league games would be better to win as I am sure they will both be looking for promotion next season would not like to say which way it will go at this stage depends on who signs who

Daventry derby! sounds good. Wouldn't like to say at this stage who would come out on top. Town had a good end to the season and I know that United are signing some good players. Big changes to last season. Now the FORD name has gone, sponsors are more likely to associate themselves with the club. Big misconception about backing from Ford Motor Company. Fozzy doing a good job getting players in so can only hope for a good cup run and promotion is definitely a target.

I cannot believe this score, not because I dont think Town could win 5 zip but more because I did not think United could lose 5 zip to anyone in this division

...........big crowd of what looked close to 300 at the town!!! I bet Town hope that the supports will think they will see that every week and the big crowds turn up again? Thought Utd would have done a lot better!

town looked good against a very poor side on the day . take nothind away from town they a good side with a lot of pace . we was not there on saturday and got what we deserved . it was probably the worst performance i have ever been involved in . the lads know they let me the club and themselfs down out there . loosing fez after 10 mins with 10 stitches to his head then me goalie after 25 mins followed by youngy on 55 mins did not help much . anyway we seen what they got now and will have more idea on boxing day . 2 new midfielders signing this week which is where its not happening for us . burne and nelson excellent , tommy b was awfull on the day and needs to find his boots if the 50 goal mark will be there . good luck to the town in the next round and look forward to boxing day . one last thing 300 watching , never lucky if 150 was there and nobody believed there was 277 . martin and macker a credit on the day but as for the chairman he was a disgrace . the coach aswell . a good side who will take some stoping .
