Soham 5, St Neots 2 Match report: Available via StNeotsFC.com. By all accounts, even from Soham supporters the referee had a bad match, with some 'questionable' decisions which spoilt it for both sides. |

Sandhurst 2 - 0 Newport Pagnell
As they say it was one of those games! The only thing not to go right was the ball going over that line in the right end.
Newport dont a very good job by restricting Sandhurst to 4 shots of which Sandhurst some how scored 2 of. Newport had most of the play having 2 shots cleared of the line, around 5 shots off target and 3 or 4 saved. On the pitch we saw some brilliant build up play and some excellent passing mainly between Vinnie, Gavin and Drew. Even though Newport were the better side overall, its Just the final product was not quite right.
Not The Swans day.
Before the game myself and Swansong were a little disgruntled about the admission price at Sandhurst FC. £6 Entrance + £1 for programme, £7 in total. We thought thats very steep for step 5 level. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced that sort of price at Step 5 level?

Was assistant at Yaxley on Sat and thought both teams fought a tight contested game.Was very impressed with the young lad upfront for March,but Yaxley just shaded it with a deserved win.

Actually no, I was behind their goal at the time, up at the far end, getting a good view of the incident that got him sent off. I have to say though, if I'd been standing under the covered bit where everyone else was standing, and he had to walk past, I would have found it difficult to keep my trap shut. He was absolutely psychotic ....... a "start a fight in an empty room" type. I said to a number of people at half time that I doubted he'd see the 90 minutes out. I wish Arch would have taken the bet..... |
