Last night Kettering Town beat Daventry United 21 - 0 in this competition.
Someone asked what time kick off was. Approximately every four minutes was the reply.

just a quick note , the u18s got pulled out the league before the start of the season. the team that played kettering was mixture of u15s and 16s . a credit to them for even turning up i think buggalugs so less of the wise cracks wouldnt go a miss .

It was also Daventry United's first outing in the FA youth cup and Ketterring gave preference to their second years. Therefore in some cases the age gap was 3 years, u15 to u18.
I think this result reflects Daventry's inexperience over Kettering's brilliance. Shown by the fact that Kettering lost to Rushden in the next round.
All the best to Daventry for next year, this result shouldn't discourage them from competing again in the FA youth cup.
