Who do u think will put up the greatest challenge this year. Whitworths always a strong outfit. I hear Sileby are regrouping and have some players returned from their title winning season, so they could be a force. Kempston ur boegy side could be in contention

Yes yes, Jimmy. An interesting post though. I personally hope Sleaford win the title and get promotion, and would like to see Whitworths get nothing!!
I don't know though...

Found this quote in the history books and wondered why Kilnpark man wants to see Whitworths get nothing. Also wondered if he still felt the same way after 2 very good this season with Raunds (1 friendly, 1 KO Cup).

I can see that Sleaford wont bounce back, all teams go through a bad patch in a season.. a long way to go.. however I would have to say it would be great for Whitworths to get some reward for all that effort after the last few years and would be worthy champs... also they have a really great chance for Junior cup honours this year. Both teams looking to get Floodlights etc.. so could it be two up to the prem next season??

I think with some luck it could be 3 cookie. Kempston are already set, Sleaford should be in position and whilst Whitworths need a small miracle, there is lots of activity and rumour. Even heard last saturday about a possible groundshare with WT now that hostilities have ceased.

Sleaford may be in position ground wise but will they be in position league wise?

groundshare not an option, max 2 up as I understand it and they must come from within the top 3 finishes

Dependant on other circumstances IE Teams leaving the Prem for step 4 Teams joining Div 1 from step 7 Teams folding (hopefully none)

Cookie, why is ground share not an option? Allegedly last season the NFA were trying to get both teams round the table to agree a way forward and I would have thought it would make good sense. difficult for both teams to get ground improvement funding for the same things I would have thought.

the other aspect is that the FA have agreed that leagues at step 5 can consist of only 20 teams now!
