I've never come across this referee before but he certainly made some interesting decisions !

Things are probably seen differently through Kelly's Eye ;D Must admit he did seem to have a hard time and when one of our players told me on the coach home that at one stage he had his head in his hands apologising I was dumbfounded. He was just as bad for them though, maybe worse?

He was garbage. Kempston should have had at least 2 penalties and the Sleaford keeper is an animal. I notice that Shaw has been dropped as well. Any truth in the rumour that this is because he got to big for his boots and demanded to be paid?

The Sleaford Keeper is an animal but does wear expensive gloves if you had been awarded 2 penalties our animal of a keeper would have saved them. Mr Shaw attended the game, you could have asked him, your committee man did

I didn't actually see him but would have asked him if I had. I think it is fairly common knowledge throughout the UCL that Shaw has got a bit of an attitude problem and thinks of himself as bigger than the team. Good goalscorer but not the player he likes to think he is.

I think Shawry is getting too big for his boots - have you seen the size of them?

You are either the man himself or somebody pretty close as you obviously know him better than I do (youre not his wife are you)

I am neither of the people who you have suggested. I am a Kempston follower who also has friends at a number of other UCL clubs. Having seen Shaw play against us over the last 2 seasons he hasn't impressed me that much, certainly not as much as forwards like Bass, Batt or Daldy. That's only my opinion though. The bit about the attitude is something I've heard mentioned between other players. I don't know if it is true because I have never spoken to him but he does appear to be a bit of a prima donna from what I've seen. If not why would Sleaford drop him?

For the record Geronimo, Shaw isn't playing because of illness, he hasn't been dropped. How many goals did Bass, Batt and Daldy score combined last season ? Nearly as many as Shaw did on his own i imagine, enough said on that point. Shaw's attitude is second to none, so whoever you have been talking to is full of rubbish, he is one of the most respected players in the team and certainly the most loyal player we have. He could have gone to several clubs close season but remained loyal to Sleaford which the players appreciate. All the best for the season, you should be there abouts if you keep the same linesman for the remainder of the year.

Okay point taken. As i said it was only something I had heard. That'll teach me to listen to rumours. I was impressed with the lad who played up front for you on Saturday so hopefully from your point of view Shaw wont be missed too badly. You probably have a point about the linesman but it's not like anyone else is queueing up to take the job on. I apologise if I was out of order.
