For those who weren't there...No, St Neots didnt fill the team with first teamers as they didnt have a game today. This was a display of clinical finishing and dogged defending, keeping only our second shutout of the season so far. scorers: Joe Walsh 2 Kevin Ashby 1 Thomas Malin 1 James Warboys 2 Ben Cole 1 Andrew Conway 1. Well done lads......Second in the table now ;D ps, listening to some of their lads afterwards, they were less than comlimentary to the manager, first team manager and Chairman.

Woofford 3 Corinths 3 Dallie Manson and Scott Sanders (2) the scorers for Corinths. Good display by Corinths Took the lead twice and were foiled in the last minute by the keeper. Congrats to Woodford who now have fantastic facilities over there and the hospitality afterwards extremely good. Almost makes the long trip over there worthwhile!!

Good to see the players were less than complimentry about the manager whom was not meant to be their manager but was good enough to take it on till such time a new manager was found. Maybe those players should take a good look at themselves as its all to easy to pass the balme elsewhere. After all correct me if i'm wrong the manager can only do so much in the dugout its the players who are meant to do the job. some of those players were 1st teamers last season sn they were the ones doing the moaning on saturday instead of trying to encourage the younger under 18s in the side .................shame they cant take a leaf out the under 18s book at huntingdon correct me if i'm wrong on this but arent they top of their league. Lets not take anything away from st neots either on this they were outstanding.

I have to agree with Lord B here. Unless the manager picks 11 muppets (and I presume he did not) then you cannot really blame him. Its worse if he is actually doing them a favour whilst they get sorted. Players have to start taking some ownership.

i played in the 8-0 game for huntingdon, it was really embarrassing, after the game i was one of the people having a moan, i moaned about my performance, the pitch, the windy conditions, the ref, the tactics, the manager, the club, my team mates performance, the post match sarnies, the lack of jaffa cakes, the eggy beer, the warm chocolate bars, christ i even moaned about the showers,
i have been at the club four years now and i was not going to return in the summer, Rick rung me up and asked me to play again, i thought this was a positive approach by someone at the club and i took the opportunity to play on, just because i moaned about the game afterwards does not mean i have shown a high level of disrespect for Rick, i would not have signed for the club if it wasnt for him and i do hold him completely responsible for keeping me there, as stated above, i moaned about everything and there is nothing personal about what i said, if there is a different way to respond to getting beat 8-0 at home by my local rivals then please could someone tell me how to do this.
i dont know if it is a good idea to have people signing in under nick names on this website and it is something i wont do. i am defending my club when writing this becasue i think some people are trying to make us look bad. i have no interest in condemning other clubs or 'nicknames' and i think we should talk football and not politics, even though these two issues seem intrinsically placed together of late
the club are taking on three new reserve managers from the next game, town legends Martin Ray, Jason Lee and Jamie Donald are coming in to kick start the season. i personally thank rick for what her has done, i am confident the reseves would have folded if he had not have helped out
st neots easily beat us on saturday 4-1 they deserved it and we didnt
thanks
ryan- the one who got injured on saturday

To be fair, Huntingdon put in a much more determined performance on saturday and knowing the 3 lads coming in, I'm sure they will turn things round.
Good luck for the rest of the season mate

ok, thanks, the new lads come in a few weeks, our first game is burton park, i am looking forward to it and hopefully the team will realise that they are good enough to do something impressionable this season, alot of them are young and i hope a win will give us some confidence to steer us away fom the bottom three which i dont think is a position that reflects our performances, but footbll doesnt lie, there is no point us being a 45 minute team, where we paly well but get tired and get mullered as st neots have already proved against us

yeah agree with your points ryan, results just havnt gone towns way! just like 2 let everyone else know that we havnt had 14 players on a saturday since... well i cant remember, so with injuries it does get difficult! the team is young and maybe a little bit naive but the 3 lads taken on will bring a few more senior players in and point the youngsters in the right direction! i think a win will do the team a world of good! ryan the game with burton park is cancelled so the first game for the new managment will be eynesbury at home (wot a start that could be)... i think martyn, jason and jamie will be a breath of fresh air for the reserves and should give the squad a boost... it has me!!! bring on eynesbury!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was this the same Huntingdon squad that was robbed at Raunds? ??

we where robbed at raunds... people on here dont understand the situation we was in and dont understand that playing with 11 or 12 men for 5-6 weeks is hard on legs and limbs so although we gave a good account of ourselves against raunds our squad was tired and at the bare minimum, fair enough there is no excuse for getting beat by such a high scorline by your local rivals but please try 2 take into account the situation we was in! things look bright now tho with new managment and new faces
