With Spencer Reserves' run of 5 wins, surely it must be Spongey?
Let's face it, are YOU going to tell him he isn't?

I've instructed the reserves to wear carpet slippers to avoid damaging the lawn. So does it meet your approval LRS? By the way 3 nil to us!

The return of the Special One! Will he bring his First - Reserve team or his Reserve team? Will the famous or infamous "Raunds Sweeper" reappear as linesman? Will we have enough Chips to feed him afterwards? Will he want to leave once he gets here, his spiritual home? Will "Skip" ever go to an away match, or will be planting spuds on his own at his Kiln Park Allotments? Will the Special One out drink and out eat our very own Big Bird? Will Jake the Peg actually play for Raunds, as his boots are on the above picture? Will the "Italian Stallion" return, or will he be tanning his armpits? Does anyone really care, I'm off to Ford Sports to see a proper game and to support the original "Special One Spider"! By the way Skippy, Millsy knows who you are and isn't too impressed at all the pressure you're putting on him, he could spontaneously combust you know! Happy days, bring back Berristers! Can you remember it Skippy?

Of course he knows who I am we were chuckling about it the other day. Mind you I had wondered why he wanted me to come over on Saturday and join the night out with the lads. I suspect my night out will be being through your lawn fertilizer machine. write a book about this couldn't we and call it Lawna Doom! ;D ;D (its funny if know that theres book called Lorna Doone that is?) Well if our first team's friendly get called off I may come over to watch and pull up few blades of grass just to annoy you, then I can transplant them to kiln park allotments. By the way the BBC are going to film some of the next series of 'The Big Dig' at Kiln Park. So they will be interviewing Steve Pack a lot Yes, bearing in mind this goes out on a Sunday morning! Its all good clean fun isn't?
