What do you think???
Seen all teams play this season and i believe they all have quite a decent chance of winning it... But have Stotfold opened too much of a lead to be caught now???
Let me know what you think...

Stotfold will win it by a mile. They are a really good side but I believe Blackstones will finish second, Fix Sec permitting!

Stotfold to win it, Blackstones second and Spencer third. I think the table is a fair reflection of what I have seen. You can only judge it on what you play against and some teams may have had off days when we met them.
Based on that criteria, the only surprise is that I thought the St Neots Res side that beat us early in the season looked very good and I expected them to be up there.

Is it true that on Saturday Stotfold rang up Bourne because they were stuck in traffic, running half an hour late...then turned up with a slightly different team than they were originally planning to have because the Stotfold first team game had been called off and they had got in some of their first team players? Not an accusation, just a question!!

Yes I can confirm on the evidence I have received that this was in deed the case and I find them guilty but am unable to pass sentence.

looking at the blackstones case , your leaned friend can only see that since the introduction of a long passed it player and the breaking up of a proven squad coupled with a restraining order on their attacking wingers has contributed to their downfalls in the latter pert of the season. The manager could swing for this.

That tells you why the First Team are doing so well! All of those Reserve players with hardly a First team appearance between them. Continuity in both teams or are they ran separately? How can't the First Team have had suspensions?

How about we start giving credit where credit is due!!!
I posted on the other forum regarding Stotfolds game/slugfest against St Neots a few weeks ago... In the post I commented on how everyone seems to always envy and begrudge the winners or the best teams about at the time.
It seems to me that the same comment can be applied here... Once again i'll explain myself and my reasons for why i think this a wrong accusation.
Stotfold Reserves all season have played some excellent football as i have witnessed myself and as the results also shout this out. I've been to see them play several times and have been extremely impressed with not only the football they play but the manner and sportsmanship in which they play it. Westham8 is correct though the reserves have'nt had much to do with their first team thus far this season and why would they??? Both teams are performing well so any addition or loss to one of them would surely hinder either sides performance.
We need to remember that Reserve sides are there as backup for the first teams so even if the case that the judge is trying to put across was true then wouldnt this just be normal???
So my verdict is, that i think we should give credit where credit is due... Despite all the problems that Stotfold have had as a club this season, i believe that this is mainly with the First team. So I think we should leave the Ressies alone and start giving them the credit they deserve... SHAME ON YOU JUDGE!!!
My Verdict... Judge is wrong again.... just like many Judges in the uk these days!!!
