i was at last nights game and i thought Huntingdon played fantastic. they got the ball down and tried playing football. considering they where a league below Northampton spencer it didnt show. they didnt give up and i was impressed with the number 2 and number 6. they were young but where the best two players on the park by a long way. I will be going to watch them more often. Well down town.

yes i agree the two players mentioned were class. Ive been to all four games this season and i think last night was the best of the lot from the team. If we play like every game we will be promoted easily. Well done to Paul Swannell, he has got together a good sqaud this year, im enjoying watching each game easpecially the 6, he plays with his heart on his sleave, and leads us from the back. come on town!!

Having watched the game last night as a neutral there was always only going to be one winner. As well as Huntingdon defended playing there negative 4-5-1 formation, they never threatened the home goal and didn't look like scoring until the dubious late penalty. The manager has produced a young and enthusiastic side who try to play in the right manner and I'm sure would be more adventurous in league matches. They do depend on the pony tailed guy who organised from first to last minute and gave the younger lads confidence and guidance. As for being promoted easily - cannot disagree more. More streetwise and hardened UCL Div 1 sides will overcome the young lads although the experience this season will hold the side in good stead for forthcoming campaigns. The future could be bright as long as they all stay together MOM: Cassidy, - Cogenhoes loss is Spencers gain.

After watching last nights game i must say i was impressed with huntingdon's commitment they battled against a team in a higher league who are top, and have not lost a match yet this season. for me i think the the number 5 playing at centre half had an outstanding game as well as number 2 and number 6 but saying that twice number 6 failed to clear the ball which gave Northampton Spencer's 2 great chances and also gave away a pointless free kick which resulted in Northampton scoring from it but a great passionate display shown by huntingdon which needs to be produced in the the league if they are to push forward. up the town !

I agree with ucl watcher, they will get turned over by stronger more physical teams, which is in the main what the ucl 1 is all about

that seems to be true about moran, but the old players were not kicked out i assume? there was a choice was there not? to stay or to go? tom seems to be the only one who has taken to the challenge (oh and carl foreman) and not allowed the 'outsiders' to take over totally. do you think its an attitudinal thing? did towns old players simply give up or were they pushed out? the choice was theirs and they chose to leave

i have been to a few town matches this season, why do you so called fans keep calling new players outsiders?? they have come to your team to play well and progress. Ive spoke to paul swannel and all last seasons players were contacted to go pre season, and those that did are still at the club. Maybe its time for the 'fans' of town to get behind the so called 'outsiders' and help the team push foward. Does anyone seriously think any of the new players are not good enough for town? from what i understand most of them have come from good clubs. it about time you stop dwelling on the past and start going foward.

OK, outsiders is used just to make the point that they were not there last year and they are new, its nothing derogatory atall and i apologise if this has come across that way. my point still stands, the town players were not pushed out, so why did they go? i would have fought for my place
