It was the groundsman robert who unfortunatley got ideas above his station an thought he owned the place bless him. now no ones saying he aint done a good job up there but hey if he had his way no football would be played on it and he'd have the local bowls club playing on it. I personally think he was using it to get himself a better job with a league club rather than concentrating on town. Still rumour has it he's been seen at bracley with st neots and again at st neots on tuesday night ........maybe he wants to set up their new pitch...... good luck st neots you are welcome to him ......he's great for moral boosting(not) and creating harmony within a club

he is only interested in winning awards for himself and not the club he caused most of the trouble last year when i was there between managers and the committee - town are good rid i understand he will be joining st neots oh and dont forget players at that club you can not train on the pitch midweek or warm up before games at all says groundsman

you are debating about a groundsman, if he was after getting noticed, then he has succeeded, i have noticed the town pitch doesnt look so cracked and knackered, i would say that like the town first team, you must judge them on their performances, robert has done well, fact
