Once you make a certain number of posts you get to make the team and then be skipper, or something.

i know about politics and that includea local soccer politics, its great fun, i pick up info from the football websites and local papers and try to identify why there are problems within clubs, with town it is a clear case of resistance to change, which is, in my case, justified, the term 'dont change what isnt broken comes to mind' and my research suggests ling was doing ok so why change the set up, the change has spawned anger and like something that sounds liek star wars, anger leads to hate, hate leads to fear and fear leads to suffering, and who will suffer? it will be huntingdon town

Huntingdon certainly didnt look like they were suffering last night as they outplayed Yaxley for periods of the matche despite ending up losing 4-1.
In the second half they played very well and the 'keeper and skipper both played blinders.
For me they have the makings of a good side.

the only good thing about huntingdon town now is the reserves, looking at results it hasnt done them justice and a young side... the side on saturday was dan richmond (18), declan rodgers (16), dennis squires (17), ryan doherty (24), dan york (19), ed hemming (19), lee milton (18), lee bassett (17), shane fox (17), adam banda (19) and stan megwano (19), and subtitute ben heath (18)... they did have a few players out aswell, captain liam johnson (23) so it looks very bright for the reserves, but of corse none of these will get into the first team because they are all local lads... shame!!! even though 2 of them where regulars last season... lee milton and lee bassett! althought they havnt had the best results they are gelling and will be good soon, ask thrapston reserves although they won 5-3 they will vouch that huntingdon had heart 2 fight back from 3-0 down... ricky has done a great job

Join the A14 onto the A1, past Peterborough, past Stamford, straight over at Colsterworth roundabout, about Half a mile later (about 6 miles before Grantham) take slip road on right, signposted RAF Cranwell. Follow B6403 (about 5 miles) across Somerby roundabout onto A52 for quarter of a mile, turn left, back onto B6403 towards Ancaster/RAF Cranwell. Go past Harrowby/Grantham turn, across Ancaster crossroads, do not take Sleaford turn, another 5 miles to the A17 turn left, then immediate right into RAF Cranwell, follow road round, Stadium and carpark are on your left, turn left into saddlers row and take 1st left Have a safe journey, see you Saturday

'It was good and deserved a goal. ' dont understnad jimmy what do you think will happen to huntingdon town in the long run I thought you meant the long mazy run by the Huntingdon player in the match! In the long run I think all UCL clubs should be looking to get locally based and know players in their teams. For the simple reason that they have family and mates who are more likely to come to games and boost attendances.
