Finished 1.1 Could have been 2.1 at half time - first game always the hardest with the sunshine beating down for all 90 mins - we looked at 20 players today and would have to say well done to all of them - every player conducted themselves very professionally and with great conviction - lots of positives to take from the game and looking forward to the next game Big thank you to all the supporters and committee for coming to watch and looking after us ;D

Indeed it was a good work out for both teams. Huntingdon looked good in the first half and could and should really have gone in 2-1 up, the player concerned missing a Ronnie Rosenthal like effort versus Villa a few years ago, but completely ran out of steam in the second where we really should have added to Kuhnie's header. Our keeper only made one save in the second period, fitness really coming to the front. Well done both sets of lads, trying to play football in sweltering conditions. Huntingdon look like they could be in for a successful season if yesterday was anything to go by.

Would say both teams started with probably strongest 11 available at the time in the first half - second half all the changes came, we looked at 20 players and think st neots were about the same - all in we were very happy
