Time to put this one trick pony away!  lol Scully has done an excellent job since he joined Whitworths this season but the basic foundations were already in place and just needed the right direction, which he supplied. I have, though been very impressed by the way Paul has conducted himself, and he has adapted to UCL management very well, and I have no doubt he can and will go on to manage at a higher level. It is difficult enough to do the job, but to do it outside of your home town is even harder. I thank him for his input and wish him the very best at Rothwell Corinths Reserves next season. Now do me a favour and hurry up and s*d off!!!!!  ;D |

No rumours or conjecture , the facts were always known and out in the open for those people that needed to know.I would like to thank joe smyth for giving me the opportunity and without getting to soppy , would like to thank everyone ive met at the club especially in the way myself and the other corby lads were made to feel welcome when we first arrived.I think Whitworths Fc success on the pitch is a reflection of the work that is done off the pitch which other clubs,players,managers etc do not see.Sure there are some good players there and a very good squad overall but without the work that is done in figos team inc the man at the top jj it would not come together, at whitworths figo is that man who brings it together and in my eyes is a top manager... And off to Raunds so ive heard today from my source there.Any truth in this figo?? As i understand its the players there that want u and the hierachy have approached u?.

If figo's going to raunds, where's colin ridgeway going?...... If thats the case,with figo/raunds, is colin going to whitworths? Obviously letting colin ridgeway go turned out to be wboro towns biggest mistake in their short, short history, are raunds going to make the same error of judgement? What about gary petts,he must be looking for a managerial move by now? He'd do a great job at whitworths as he did a thrapston.oh i dont know,how about sven?

Cheers Darren , i bet between us both we could put out a top draw corby select side if anyone in the county ever had the bottle to lay down the challenge?!!!!! Anyway i wish you well in your new job and sure you will do a good job. I would love the oppo of doing a ucl 1st team in the next couple of seasons. its a little frustrating doing the reserve level but i do think in the next season or two i stand a good chance of becoming corinths 1st team boss , esp if i go there and do a geniune support job for frank in the same as ive done for joe at whitworths this season from october onwards , time will tell i suppose. Anyway good luck and perhaps we should meet up in the future...we do have things in common.L8S M8

 I agree - you both have loads in common... 1) You both spend lots of time posting about how great you are. 2) You both haven't really achieved anything. 3) You both folded Combination sides in the pursuit of your own glory ;D

We both know that I've won trophies in the combination , that cant be denied , As for the folding of a club , we both know that was out of my hands - a pub team cannot meet the criteria and withstand the requirements of the combination prem div without a proper set - up that is organized with enough people involved to make it work or the finance which is needed in all of this, So your comments on this are very wide of the work about myself and i think also with Darren . As I've said i can handle criticism IT COMES WITH MY PERSONALITY that people will want to shoot me down.. WHO CARES!!!!! Like i say I'm onto you and thought we knew each other better than this and I'm very disappointed in you, i will be seeing you..........LONG LIVE CHRIS EUBANK

MMmmmm....... interesting comments.... however very much off the mark, maybe you should think before opening your mouth and make your comments onestepatatime!!!!
Think both have a love for the game, both tasted a bit of success and both moved to a higher standard to improve as managers and learn technically.
And also players to play at the higher standard to improve there own game and confidence and the players that played at the lower standards - think you will find moved with the managers - so Its positive thing for all you ''negative alarmist''!!!

MB - BACK OF THE NET!!!!!!!!!! Don't worry about "onestepback" as i know he is and cant wait to meet up with him to discuss matters , i will perhaps enlighten you at a later date . I used to think he was OK and would go as far as saying that i had some respect for him and the club he is associated with , however judging by his only postings , it looks like hes joined this site to shoot me down HA HA I'm so scared woooo!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it when i know that I've annoyed someone like this sad LITTLE man and his continued posts about me only fuel my already largely inflated ego HA HA HA HA .  Points taken and I think its fair to say that I don't know the whole picture in either case. SS - no offence meant - its reading your posts that make me come back to this site. I've been reading for most of the season but decided to take the chance to be the first to make a negative comment!!! I think its fair to say that my points came across as harsher than intended (I did put a "grin" underneath!)...apologies. ;D
