For me I think that with 7 goals and fitness returning James Wager is doing a great job in the Reserves as is Jamie Black and Craig Neighbour, but they are all doing very well and of the first 9 points on offer this season I know we should have had 7 and not 2............but that was then. The team is definately on the move and good to see. Regarding the first team, more difficult. Clearly Dalds and Carlton are standing out, I think Gary Clarke is doing well and with Lino moving to the centre of defence I think we will start to see his contribution go from strength to strength. What do you think BB? So all in all I think not a bad start

JJ ,
Forgive me for butting in , but Jamie Black is Phenomenal and i make no secret of the fact that i am keeping tabs on him and his progress .
I gave the boy a chance in ucl footy after watching him v Rothwell Town u18's last season .
I got no doubts whatsoever he could play in the prem now , he is a player who can step up the levels and get better .
Infact the boy needs it to happen .
My 1st team manager wants him in his team week in week out after we went to watch him play 2 weeks ago .
He is on a short ( long ) list of players .
I think he could prove too good for div1 though and do have contacts who manage in the prem and may put them onto him .
The boy is shithot , thought that as soon as i saw him .

He is good SS no doubt and as you know broke into the 1st team at the end of last season..........not many 17 / 18 year olds with UCL Div 1 winners medal. Killi also though he is struggling with injuries this term. I have no doubt that once both boys are upto speed they will both be in the 1st team but for the minute working well with Mazey especially after the demolition of high flying St Neots.

prettyboy still here ha ha.just to answer question on other forum, have no bad things to say about whits same as fozzy and ben we all got the chance to play prem and at are age you have to grab it with both hands, as many people have said to me play as high as you can.we cant play football forever so you have to give it ago and not look back and regret it in 20 years time. mallows has grey hairs coming through and a receding hair line, also needs to stop the gob as he got sent off saturday.he will learn from that

Draper best of luck pal i think its great to see that you , fozzie and ben have made the step up it is a big loss for whits but they have a strong set up and still can fight for the top spot, ss it sounds like all the info you are getting from whits is coming from someone very close to you who is part of the club which in a way is out of order things should be kept in house.any way back to the pretty boy who should take from you then draper? ?

I agree with tluaner about SS, either someone confiding in him being badly let down or loose tongued and needs to stop because that lad thrives on all the mischief

think with so many lads playing sundays, gossip is easy to pick up about local teams and as ss had boro lads playing for him, gossip will be passed on in passing convo. not so sure someone is texting or ringing him telling them everything they know.

dont know to be honest tluaner as I am not sure how many of them work with SS. I know Lee does and I do not think for one minute he would be trying to make his own job any tougher. I know he cares about how the reserves do as does his assistant Steve, so the loose tongues will be dissappointing for him. I guess the Sunday football element is the obvious source because most of the players do hook up over sunday football whether its Kweensway, Millers, Valleybrook et al. For me the important thing is that both the 1st and Reserve teams have chances to win their leagues. The first team are as fancied as anyone to lift the Junior Cup they should have won last season and the Reserves could easily win the reserve KO cup this season so many great footballing reasons to be playing for a place at Whitworths
