The reserves notched up an excellent 3 - 0 away win at Daventry United last night with goals from James wager, Jamie Black and Cavell Jarvis off the bench. This on the back of a fine win last weekend where james wager got a hatrick. The young guns are on the move.............congratulations to Lee / Steve and all the boys and good luck in the cup at Raunds on tuesday. Upto 5th...........not bad eh SS?

JJ, I belive, at this moment in time ,SS or D--K HEAD as he should be known, has got his head so far up his a--e he cant see that the reserves have moved onward and upward. £1000 bets, the geezer lost it. Nice one Muzzer/ Steve and your "BOYS" See Muz, I told you the secret was safe with us. We wont talk about it any more and talk is the pictures have been destroyed anyway.

Pringle, you do seem like a nice chap. You also seem to be well schooled in local football past and present. Before I say this,Im not siding with anyone but do you not think that your view(based on this site's posts) of superscully is a tad harsh? I know that he has a lot of negative vibes on this site and I for one have had a rant or two myself. I think what he did, with the help of Joe,scullys players and the club, has been unrivalled by any. Maybe he comes across as a little arrogant and has the 'all about me' syndrome but this has to be a front. You cant get players to play for you if you are such an a###hole. Its great to see the reserves doing well and long may it continue. As for those pictures, they're coming out when mazeys doing the 1st team. They'll be spread all over the back page of the ET.

JJ ,
I am pleased , but not surprised as the foundations are there to do well .
I certainly felt if i had stayed or had got involved last year 3/4 games earlier than i did , that winning the division then or now was well achievable .
The momentum and belief following / surrounding from that effort means it is almost a certainty that the team will do well , esp as mazey learned so much from me when working in the backroom staff !!!
Also one thing i found last term was that because the nucleus of the 1st team is normally always the same it actually helps you find some stability in the reserves at Whitworths .
I cant be 100% sure but from my observations last season that wasn't the case with alot of the other sides .
I am happy to see the team do well and take great satisfaction at lads like Black and Kilbane making a real name for themselves .
They are great players who will go on to prem level .
Having gone to watch these lads ( while others were watching champions league on the telly ) on a cold , dark nights last season while they were playing for the clubs u18s , i hassled the 18s manager to get many of these young lads involved in the reserves .
Its great to see it work out and know you played a small part in their development ( in terms of giving them the chance ) I will always look out now to see how they are getting on .
Also some other good lads there aswell that alot of effort went into and its good to see that they too are progressing .
So I'm happy .
First team is a different matter though and I'm not so positive about them . They seem to have a couple of big time Charlie's and 1 or 2 of them could do with a kick in the boll-ox as they are not as good as they think .
In the main though they are decent lads and good players but just let down by a couple of dough-nuts especially the one who plays at the back who is always retiring then coming back .
Id love to be a first team manager and compete in ucl div1 and come against the top team and supposed top manager .
Joe was great to me and i wont forget how good he and his staff treated me but i know that i can take him .
There are so many crap managers and teams in div1 that i find it embarrassing that nobody has snapped me up yet .
At any club in Div1 , if i took over in close season i would make a serious challenge that season and would look to win it , unlike many of the other managers in those jobs now .
My ability and contacts are perfectly suited to Div1 and i know that i can win it .
Ill wait and see but i wont hold my breath as many clubs seem frightened of success , or at least going for it .
Whitworths are not .
One thing is for sure is that i will not be a Reserve Team manager next season .
Anyway good luck to the reserve managers and players .
I hope they can win it .

Billyboy, I do thank you for your comments and it can only add to constructive conversation but I do get a little fed up with SS bragging, boasting and mischief making. You seem a rational bloke, study some of the stupid things he has said and some of the bad feeling he has caused. He talks of "Big time Charlies" and crap managers, talks of £1000 bets .Joe WAS good to him, I agree, but look what he got back for it. I have said all I am going to on SS. As for these pictures of Muzz, well, many people would pay a pretty penny for just a peep but they remain safe under lock and key till the occasion arises!!!!!!!

thanks jj, yes we had a slow start which i expected because of the amount of new players i introduced to ressies,it would have always took a while 4 the old and new players to gel but better than expected it has happened early of which all involved bicks bill players cookie myself can b proud of but what we must not do is forget that it is a long season. we r all learning as we go through this season but i am more than happy with the work my fellas r putting in not only on match days but in training also, so lets just hope we can keep this momentum and keep the ressies where they deserved 2 b. pleased but there. is more to do. watch this space

Mr Pringle ,
What pictures are these you talk about ?
The ones of mazey in Germany , he told me about that trip and who was there .
Look forward to seeing you soon .
Your such a dough-nut .
As Ive said before on this website , blokes who act big behind their pathetic little user names are nothing .
And your identity always comes out in the end .
Just like yours has .
Your as thick as two short planks .
Good things come to those who wait and you are well out of your depth .
Once again Mr Pringle see you soon as i still work in the wboro and spend alot of time in the area and cant wait to meet up to talk footy .
Good luck to the reserves , hope they can continue their fantastic run .
Pringle see you soon dough nut

Mr Scully, I do sincerely look forward to the day we can meet up and talk football, trouble is, I will have to turn you upside down, ( not a problem!!) because you talk out of your a--e. Now to be serious, I think you did a good job at whitworths and will do a job again, its just the bragging, boasting , etc that annoys me. As for being out of my depth, Mr Scully, I dont think so. I have given it out so must expect it back, thats fair but I now feel this should end before it gets messy. You are obviously a football man and that cant be bad. We both wish muzza well with his team and I wish you well in football. Final thought. " Its harder to make friends than it is to make enemies". THE END.

Muzza, I would like to know, and I feel I speak for BillyBoy as well, how you got in that position. For a man of "maturing years" to get his leg and more disturbing, his head into such athletic "situations" is indeed commendable if not downright amazing. I must tell you now, I went to the sunday papers with said pictures but was rapidly escorted from the premises under threat of arrest. Never Mind, they might come in useful another day. When, and it is only a matter of time, you manage a prem side they will see the light of day again and a price for the return of the items can be "negotiated".

That absolute cheek of it at Whitworths , you take the biscuit as-well as the bait .
You are such a dough-nut .
Final thoughts then .
I have been quite complimentary and modest since my leaving apart from offer a challenge to others on your dominance , which you don't seem to like or be able to handle .
Just a couple of things before i go .
When i joined Whitworths and while i was there i
1 / Rescued the ressies from oblivion ( ill come back to this )
2 / Talked Joe out of quitting after the Junior cup disgrace to Kislingbury and put him on the right track with a game-plan going forward to be successful for both teams ( I'm sure he'll deny this but he was under pressure and on the ropes ) .
My support , enthusiasm and knowledge was pivotal in the form of both teams at the turn of the year ( the most important time of the year ).
Success that you enjoyed .
3 / Brought a couple of quality players in and stopped many from leaving , the same players that are doing well now for both 1st and 2nd teams .
4 / Only took 4 players with me including the ones i brought .
5 / My popularity at the time within the club created this forum ( check Whitworths threads for evidence ) that You now enjoy so much .
6 / Put your club sec onto how to get the club-website you now have at Whitworths ( check forum for evidence ).
All of this in the space of 7 fortunate for you months .
It could have been better as-well
I could have led those fantastic lads in the reserves from near bottom to winning the league if it hadn't of been for a couple of dough-nuts from the 1st team , let me explain
Defeat to Sileby Rangers , Whitney turns up to play ( charlie big potatoes ) talking all the talk .
He plays and has a mare , at fault for all the goals . Players are embarrassed for him .
He is so slow I've seen milk turn quicker .
This guy is so bad at defending it shows you how far the standard has fallen over the years if this dough-nut is playing in a team that went a season undefeated .
Defeat to Cogenhoe , Daldy is forced upon me to play like Whitney was .
7 of his one on ones later we lose 1 nil , he was awful - he is awful and all the players at that club apart from his mates think so .
Again the standard has dropped if this guy is still scoring goals .
I know for a fact that when C. Ellwood was told that he was wanted to play up front with him this season , he told Joe " but he is nuts "
Joe will deny this of course .
Anyway Mr Pringle look forward to you turning me upside down .
This is my last post on the matter , i know who you are and the end of this will be messy .
See you soon doughnut

Hope so ......... but I very much doubt it 5 / My popularity at the time within the club created this forum ( check Whitworths threads for evidence ) that You now enjoy so much . I dont think so, it was something that The Whitworths Secretary and I talked about after the Sleaford one was set up, thats why he is a moderator on that part of the forum (or did you put him up to that) Also there is a job going down south, that you should apply for if you are that ambitious, they have just got rid of another manager who says, he was the best they ever had.................... Come on, it wasnt hard was it ;D

Getting back to the reserves great run another great win at Raunds in the cup with 2 more goals from Mr Wager who know has 7 for the season.............excellent well done to everyone. Regard James Daldy, got to disagree with you SS as he has had a great start and the way he and Carlton linked against Perkins Sports was excellent. They deserved at least the 3 goals they got between them and they are looking better and better. Lets not forget the PPS are top of their league, apparently had scored 17 goals in last couple of games, were unbeaten and to be fair after 70 minutes at 3 - 0 they were pretty shell shocked. A couple of errors in the last 10 when foot off pedal just demonstrates the need to stay on your game for the whole 90+ but Dalds will get 20+ this season and not many strikers do that in Div 1. Reserves home to high flying St Neots will be a good game this week

Was a very good game and considering Mazey had to make a couple of late changes bringing old timer Steve Bicknell back in at right back, a great result. To be fair Steve looked comfortable though I guess a bit sore Sunday. James Wager grabbed a first half trick taking his tally to 10 this season and must be knocking on that 1st team door and with the reserves currently only scheduled to play once in October (how crazy is that?) I imagine that James and one or 2 others may get off the bench chances in the 1st team. 4 - 2 win with the fourth coming from Phillip Carpenter on his debut..........another young gun unearthed

It was a good game, although the refereee did give you an early advantage of one man. Thought we (Saints) played well and may have sneaked a draw before you got the fourth which knocked the stuffing out of us a little .
Good luck for the rest of the season and see you all at Rowley Park some time later in the year
