Unhappy? not enjoying it? what do the players say about themselfs leaving? some will be for new challenges, some cos they are unhappy.
cracks in the camp? who knows,
but one thing is for sure, and thats there are lots of little groups at whitworths rather then one big group.
i hear the ressies have been hit cos of first team departures?

Don't know BB and who knows when the players speak to you what they really feel!!!
Fozzie, Ben and Sporty on decent money and playing for 2 good Prem sides so don't blame them for chancing their arm. To my knowledge they still feel good about the club at least that is what they have told me.
Regarding Carlton and Deven...........dont really know, Carlton has stated he has work commitments and Deven fancies a new challenge.
Ben Bivens I guess is flattered to be asked to play for Raunds though he was not a Whitworth player last season just as Gary Clarke now at BPW.
I think teams evolve and as players leave new ones come in. Jamie Black and Cavell good examples and I hope we can find / develop other young players to do the same.
Without doubt this has impacted on the reserves and lee and Steve have a much tougher job on their hands but are up for that challenge.
If anyone knows any different then I would be pleased to hear whether forum or privately.

The grass is not always greener on the other side. The players that left for the right reasons, Good Luck,as for the others, alittle bit of honesty might help.Is Bivens prem standard? Or is it the Kweensway(THAT IS HOW THEY SPELL IT) connection something to do with it?

Billyboy , we both know the answer to your question so why do you ask
We have discussed before but who is going to have the bottle to do anything about it ?
He said to me at the end of last season that if things ever went this way he would walK and not hold the club back
Perhaps as it looks he is even more selfish than everyone thinks
His time is up , he knows it and you know it but he will try and tough it out with more porkies and hope for a couple of good wins like last sat v cogenhoe u18s to paper over the cracks

Not quite Under 18's SS and as you have pointed out many times, lots of good U 18's especially at Cogenhoe. lets not forget some of those guys were league and cup double winners last year as you will know when representing Whitworths reserves against them without actually winning. Anyway, I know players have moved on and not the same side but 7 - 0 is not an easy score against anyone.
Not sure what you mean about 'walking away this season' ? I take it you mean Joe but not sure why he would?
As stated before, CLUB evolving now with youth setup so getting stronger all the time. Financial sustainability is the name of the game and that will not come from the first team.

Got to admit that the Cogenhoe game really hurt at the time if we'd won that then a runners up medal was on the cards at the end up
Who could have predicted that before or even when i arrived
Never mind
If only Daldy had taken 1 of his 7 one on ones chances he had ...
I didn't even want to play him either but Joe wanted him in to boost his confidence cos he couldn't hit a cows Idiot with a banjo for the first team , after that night he couldn't hit a cows Idiot with a table spoon !!!
Nice lad though
Anyway , getting back to the billy boy thing and the Joe thing , i can see there is no helping you
You have figo goggles on !!!
But you have been warned my chatter friend .
A comment once made by yourself " I must be more in the background than i realize "
Very true

Got to support but give the Manager freedom to manage, make good and bad mistakes, but as long as the CLUB evolves and moves forward then fine. In Div 1 in particular, you cannot win all the time and pay no dosh at all. Last season was an exception as all competing clubs have acknowledged.
ps - Dalds doing a great job again this season headed in scoring charts only by Berwick

I think under the circumstances Lee and Steve did great taking into account the drain to the first team. Not able to speculate on WT but Sporty says they are doing great and everything there is great. Does seem to be a more frequently asked question though about their ground arrangements for the future.
Willie Straiton I note is or has played for Corinthians Reserves so expect SS can bring us up to speed but I understand he got on the scoresheet for them. Exceptionally good player without training or anything, mate of SS, got 3 goals in the only game he played for our reserves last season.
