Its late m8 so understand difficult to keep up I have secured the funding letter in post but defo on way but I wont physically be installing the works thats for the contractors........that must be clear enough. Anyway with the way you are single handedly trying to destroy whitworths lights will be irrelevant if we dont finish top 2 for at least another 12 months.

Single handedly destroy Whitworths ?
How do you work that out ?
You've lost the plot JJ ,
Possible slander case .
So then latest on funding is this if i have read correctly ...
You have put your credibility and reputation on the line that the work including FLOODLIGHTS , HARD STANDING ON ALL 4 SIDES , 100 SEATS , will be completed by the start of next season
Or you will be walking away from your position as this is what you would rather do .
This is all from the quotes above , i understand fully
Goodnight and good luck

Calm down Scully, if you read back in the quotes, you will see you have got it wrong JJ said he would walk rather than lie about the funding letter he also said single handedly try to destroy Whitworths finally Slander is verbal, Libel is written and if you dont watch what you write, you could be accused of it. so think about what you say eh........

jj and ianh, I feel this outrageous behaviour on what should be a football forum. JJ has worked bloody hard for this moment, and its a personal triumph for both himself and his club. Yes, now the hard work begins, dont you think he dont know that?? If this sort of nonsense carries on another good man will be lost to the game. Another thing, Figo is not in hiding, never has, never will, but some of the things being said are not worth a response. As i see it, Whits are in third place in Div 1, have just got the funding for major ground developments, still champions(FOR NOW) What is it with everybody.OK,players have left, but I know Sporty, Fozzy and Ben and they left because of ambition not cash. If Joe had offered them money they would still have gone to play in the prem.Players come and go,its allways happened, all anybody asks for is the truth,it goes both ways.JJ, well done. PS, I am certainly not under anybodys spell !!!

As R&H did not get provisional funding approval for lights, stand and hard surface around perimeter until January this year and had all in place prior to league AGM I don't see why Whitworths should have any problems. Our provisional approval was due to merger which required UCL , NFA and FA acceptance which of course is not the case with JJ's funding.

Thanks Lankie. it was good yesterday to be able to hand out official copies of Contracts for the players to witness that this was no rabbit out of hat scam that SS suggested it was. As everyone knows and this includes SS as he spent best part of a year with us at whitworths, the wicks building next door impacts significantly on the speed of progress we can make. Our power supply, tarmac carpark around the front of the ground and safety netting behind bottom goal will be completed as that project is competed. Construction completion is scheduled for 31st march 2008 so we can expect that power for our lights will be available. This whole project is not and has never been us on our own so in very many ways our progress is also dependant on others. The important thing is that we have been granted a project with funding and at this moment there is no reason to believe the works wont be complete before the start of next season. As ianh points out, my comments were that i would walk away rather than lie and walking away when the works are complete will still be an option, but I wont walk away until the job is finished. ...........Anyway time to move on, good result against thrapston though dissappointed about reserves though they are a bit light at the moment due in part to players leaving.................

I would like to say well done to all of you involved at Whitworths I know how hard you have to work to get those grants as I am involved at a UCL club I think it is time that Superscully shut his mouth with his crap he comes out with he seams to me just a trouble maker and your club is better of without him keep up the good work good luck for rest of the season

LOL another one bites the dust .
Sing when your winning you are such a loser it is unbelievable !
Have just read through most of your posts and most of it you just Idiot kiss people .
Why are you congratulating people ?
Nothing happened yet apart from a letter in the post ?
Or do you know for sure it is defo happening ?
Wot a mug
Things can change pretty quickly in life and football .
Lets just wait and see ...
I actually think it will be a great shame if the work never happens as Whitworths deserve to take their place with the rest and if the work doesn't happen coupled with the FA rules etc etc , it could ( could ) possibly beginning of the end for the club
And red tape should never be allowed to do that as far as local league football is concerned
Football needs more people , more places to play football
Not less
But while i accept the FA are trying to raise standards , they do seem hellbent in making it impossible for alot of clubs to survive
And there are many more that are " just surviving " at the moment than you realize
So don't confuse the questions i ask or the buttons i press as actually being my personal opinion .
Keep believing Superscully is a real person , cos ill keep feeding you the bait
MUG
Anyway JJ ,
Good luck with it all but better to air on the side of caution on this issue to avoid massive dissapointment
Good luck again anyway

Agree with all comments relating to ground grading becoming onerous. All for pushing standards up but someone on high has to realise at some point that with average gates of maybe 50 ish and 3 officials to pay for it is becoming almost impossible to be able to afford to play............anyway got to keep pushing
