After a dissappointing run of results are Whitworths back on track and is 2nd place a possibility?

JJ, Good result today,5 away from home, cant be bad. Things are stirring at BPW,winning mentality from the management into the team!!!! 2nd place a possibility for whits, could well be.

Not sure what BPW has to do with pringle but as you mention it they had another great result that as long as we repeat this weekend does us alot of good. I guess scully will be getting all the credit when just maybe Andy and Carl laid the foundations and scully walked in as the fruit was ripe

Good point JJ. The fruit was beginning to ripen off just nicely at BPW. Who will be sorting out the bad apples from the good I wonder?

this is a great point jj and to set your mind at rest the credit is sitting squarely at the feet of Carl and Andy, the committee here have always taken a back seat when it comes to the footballing side of things and employ a first team manager to do this for them (and rightly so) It is them who are putting together a team of managers and couching staff and they are really on a good run at the moment, players have moved up from the ressies and performing well new signings are coming in and playing well, i hope this explains it well yes it is a massive team effort and yes every one is pulling there weight and doing there jobs to there best of there abilities from ressies to the top men but it is these guys that have built the foundations to work on and they did after all take the stick when it was not going so well so credit where credit is due.

Well said FF, although I can't believe we are discussing BPW on the Whitworths club forum.
Here's one for JJ though. Why on earth has Foxy signed his old mucker Shaun Allen. Surely he can't be thinking of playing him ahead of Patto?

Glad we are back on Whitworths stuff. To be fair we were not sure about Patto's attitude and comittment and as you would expect, the new man wanted to see who was around that might fit into our. Liam is a very good young keeper but wants to carry on at BPW which is good news for cl. Sean was happy to come to Whitworths and put pressure on Patto which has had the desired effect at the moment. He certainly seems re-motivated so winners all round.

Can't believe the words attitude and commiitment are mentioned in the same breath as Patto!!!
Only joking...........glad to hear that he now has his head screwed on the right way round again cos on his day he is a far better keeper than Shaun (my opinion only of cause)

Patto is a very good keeper and potentially best in Division but I think he would admit he lost his way a little. recent games though he looks like he is well on his way back and as said re-motivated.

Sorry, it was me who diverted the talk away from whits and on to BPW. I watched Whits Res today. Good young keeper for Whits,Lee Baxter, pulled off three great saves and gets himself in good positions. Also Moses and Will, young fast players. Why did Yaxley's bloke get himself sent off on the last kick of the game? ? Madness?

if your old manager would have treated craig (neighbour) right he would and should be a first team keeper, hense the reason why he has re-signed back for us at spencer

Milly, Hate to say this and I liked Craig as a bloke and a keeper but Patto is a much better keeper than Craig and young Lee in the res will now get a chance. If both keepers cant learn off Foxy who can they learn from? That takes nothing away from Craig and sometimes a move does all parties good. Tell me,does he play first team at Spencer!!!!!!!!!!
