still see in the peterboro evening telegragh that pns promotion push is still on
does tommy know that the club have withdrawn the application to go up so even if pns finish in the top 2 the club dont have the ambition to go up or the facilities
but most important do the players know this

Tut Tut naughty Townie - please concentrate on your own club!
Lights will be arriving at PNS on April 5th and we have also had very positive meetings with various parties around the other facilities (stands, changing rooms & clubhouse).
Our expectation is that within the next 12 months our club will be the equal of anything locally on and off the pitch, so please don't worry about our ambition.
Top 2 is a long way off for both of our clubs this year, but we will continue to push as hard as we can to achieve that.

So you have not with drawn your application then or you have.. As for top 2 finish being along way off... who you trying to kid - you know until its mathmatically impossible you will be fighting all the way, just like everyone else you sly old dog..... Also could be interesting to see how deep your pockets really are? I would hate for you to dig a hole for yourself with false promises..... either way the fight is on for all the clubs - good luck mate.....

Thank you for your concern Darren but despite the nonsense spouted here and elsewhere, my weekly outgoings are less than you think and probably less than yours at Huntingdon (again if I believed what people told me!).
Despite not having enjoyed an income since November, as I continue to set up my own business I could probably afford to spend 10 times the modest amount I have shelled out so far with some comfort, but then it wouldn't be expenses would it?
However, I appreciate your concern and agree that we will not give up on 2nd until it is mathamatically impossible and then try to finish 3rd then 4th etc.
In terms of promotion or not this season and facilities, that is not in my gift or remit and s best left to the people behind the scenes - I only concern myself with what is happening on the pitch and that has been slowly getting better as the season has gone on.

Agree with all you are saying my friend - As an example a club last year sat comfortable in promotion place until players got wind of - no progression - no lights - no stand - no chance.... and the club lost several key players because of it, its gutting when a manager works so hard to get results on the pitch and not the back up off it.....
Would hate that to happen to anyone... again good luck
