I really don't know what to make of it all! Today I attempted tp log onto the site in the normal way, zilch !!!!! No access !!!! Just a lot of tosh about Adobe Flash Player !!! What a life, why can't they leave things alone. If it is not broke, don't fix it. As one of the old boys, modern IT, computers etc. is difficult enough for us to understand. Now I must contact someone who is somewhat more computer literate than this old boy, to discover what it is all about. One thing for sure, in the meantime, I am effectively prevented from access to my own club site !!!! "John Boy"

Here raffy babes
on the new homepage, click on 'official site' under the badge, then click the yellow tab that says 'forum', scroll down the code of conduct b*llocks and click the 'enter' button.
Bingo
Perhaps someone from their officialdom will do a quick link

Had another go! Spotted the Code of Conduct but it does not give you a chance to click on it because it disappears too quickly, clever eh? Oh boy the frustration is wearing me down. I will keep trying for a day or two. If I have no luck, then I'm looking for a new team to follow next season John Boy

What's the address of the 'new' site?
Don't worry, I've found it - Doughboys! Thought you meant the Wellingborough Town 2004 site.

I've moved this topic to the website review forum as it focuses on their website rather than the club. I take it you're referring to thedoughboys.net rather than www.wellingboroughtownfc.co.uk. Whilst the new season handbook isn't out yet (to my knowledge) the latter is (or at least was) the official website, and I seem to recall discussion on the former website's forums which confirmed this to be the case. On TheDoughBoys website the link appears to redirect back to the site rather than load the forums. I switched off Javascript and thankfully the site can be browsed without Flash and the forum link given this time is doughboys.proboards50.com/index.cgiThe other website's forums don't seem to load.

Jon Mac has turned off the wellingboroughtownfc forum because a lot of spammers took it over trying to sell a lot of things we don't need! He tells me he hasn't given up on the site.
The Doughboys.net site is now being run by a Committee Member so looks like taking over as the official site, but, no official word! It is being re-jigged and will get there soon - so hang on in there everybody

re-jigged Graham? I have another word for it! Tried to log on a short while ago and bingo, back to normal, smashing, super, great. But then tragedy struck again. It suddenly chucked me out and when I tried to sign on again "Error" Boy, I am fed up with all this re-jigging. The site wasn't broke, don't fix it.

Phew! Got back on again, bit of a hit or miss affair though. Hope that after all the re-jigging, it settles down to a nice quiet life again.
