;D ere we go...... Monday 23rd 7pm - kicks off a new season and a few new faces , we go into the season with great determination, enthusiasm and a good base line from last years performance. With all the activity, investment and quality at the club it gives us good foundations to build a club and enjoy all the perks with it  hope to see you all soon.... let the games commence!!!  come on the Hunts  |

Yawn yawn yawn.....who really cares except you ? We are not interested ....why post such dull stuff....boring !
If you concentrated on trying to be a be a better manager instead of trying to big you and your club up then you might do better. Get on with the job and if you ever achieve anything in management then come back and tell us all about it from a position of strength.
Mid Table to top 8 at best with a few good results along the way....no chance of promotion.

Funnily enough, this is a football forum and things like pre-season for Huntingdon especially on a Huntingdon thread, would probably interest people. If you think its dull, dont read it and definately dont post negative posts... whats the point? |

But got to disagree with you on hunts . While i don't think that Darren Young is the greatest manager that ever lived he is however well organized and committed . He may try to disagree with my next point and may not like it but also paying players x amount for whatever reason or expenses has certainly helped him massively in the ucl with hunts now and pns b4 however he is not the only manager to work with a budget or gifts if you like . As stated in pns thread by tommy , if you consider that half the teams in division one pay some sort of money then ..... etc etc etc I would expect hunts after going close 'ish last season and with Dav town and Rothwell C up now that they will go very close . Top 3 i would think . Keep up the good work though on the ball !!! |

 Sorry for not getting back to you earlier as have been reading my striker and roy of the rovers magazines to get tips for the pre season...... it shows you loads, its great.........how to score! how to kick a ball! - just email me if you want to borrow them........ ;D OTB - you need to stop reading you kids school books, take that spoon out of you ar*e and go get laid because by the sound of it your not aloud out much............ as stated earlier this is for HUNTINGDON TOWN FC.......... come on the Hunts.........

I accept that this dull and so boring thread is all about Hopeingdon Town but you seem to use this to inflate your ego and bum yourself up yet you have never achieved anything personally. ....that is my only point ....
MB ...tell me another manager that comes on here and tells everyone how good things are going...oh yes I forgot ...Tad at Bugbrooke....and the common factor ...you have both achieved zilch / nothing.
As for getting laid and getting out I think it is you that has the problem...those who talk about never get it....I fail to see what reading books, not getting out much and my sex life has anything to do with having an opinion that you dont agree with but you do not have the intelligence to answer constructively or argue with....
I would carry on reading your comics ....

 Hopeingdon - did that take you all night to think of that one......MR - ON THE "talks" BALL ocks ;D  somehow I dont recall bumming any thing up.... apart from maybe your own imagination, so getting obstreperous on our page just shows you how sad you are......  As for the "again" not achieving anything, I never said I had..... at UCL level that is!! but you never know till you try!! come on the hunts..... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Any way back to the pre season - started back tonight to get a feel for the new season and what fantasic responce - 50 players across the board turned out to put a shift in Great to see all the lads from last season as well as the new ones great attitudes and pleased to see them all applying themselves - special thanks to the management and coaching staff Clive, Martin, David, Ali, Alan and Anton for giving us a good kick start to the new season ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

another good session with the best commitement Iv had the pleasure to be involved with for a while, pleasure to see all the efforts tha lads have been putting in within a short time, local players coming in Paul Bass, Dan Meston, Carl Mackney, James Edwards and Ricky Dear just to mention a few, lets hope we can apply our enthusiasm and ability on the pitch
