Watched Stones res when they came over to Deeping pre-season. The 5-5 result indicates that the attack on both sides were in the ascendancy! Mind you Deeping had Matson playing as he was serving a suspension and he caused havoc to the Stones defence whenever he got the ball. Stones were also very good going forward, with their centre forward winning everything in the air; all in all it was a very entertaining game. So I predict that Deeping will regain their Division 1 status and Stones will be top 3 in Division 1

Plenty of players in the teams we have faced have been impressive but I haven't seen anything collectively to rival Stotfold yet. I don't suppose that's much of a surprise after the way that they dominated the league last year.

ive been hearing little whispers of spencer ressies in turmoil. a few what would be "senior" players (that are in or around there 20's) but been in ucl for many seasons have been heard to be off. two very talented youngsters to drop down and play in the combination and 2 or 3 more that i have overheard them saying that there going to leave if things dont change. Im feeling that if this is true it could possibly alert a number of div1 clubs to make enquiries. Down there theres pickering who is always ressies top scorer, bushall who cant break into 1st team but has a good future, webbster with alot of pace players that can do a very good job in div1 and in time be prem regulars.

Milly We should have played them on two consecutive saturdays but our home game was called off at a very late stage on saturday morning because they could only apparently field 5 players. We travelled to Spencer last saturday and they only had 12 players on their team sheet. This is most unlike Spencer. We have always had tough but enjoyable games with them and i hope they find some players to keep going. We've had one reserve player who has played 4 seasons for us and he has not had a single run out in the first team yet but he keeps his head up and gets on with it. So keep your heads up Spencer !
