The Ressies had a big day out at Peterborough yesterday and sadly lost to Peterboorugh Northern Star 1:3. It was a hard game with non stop attack and defence. My boys played their hearts out and Marc Mallard stopped 5 good attempts at goal before the first one went in off a "forearm"! The second got in off a Burton player but there were so many in the scuffle it was hard to tell who was who. Peterborough's final goal was a goodun though. He was man of the match for me as he continued to make saves on what could have been a very high scoring match for our opposition fi he'd let them through. We had loadsa chances and near misses but couldn't quite get past them. I was very proud to be part of BPWFC and can only say a fantastic game lads wonderful to watch. With excellent sportsmanship throughout.

Saturday saw the Ressies win once again with a 4:2 against Wootton Blue Cross. All goals from BPW came in the first half but once they had that little rest they seemed to sit back on their success and let Wootton get 2 in! It was a good game nevertheless with the lads on a high. This week they've got Peterborough Northern Star at home in what promises to be an really exciting game to watch as they won't want to let them win at home.
