Well done to Sleaford for getting the only game on in the UCL-even though we lost! As the pitch hardened I thought when our midfielder went over his ankle the ref must have considered abandoning the game momentarily, but got on with it. At least it saves us a midweek 2 hour drive. As for the ground and facilities, considering our current plight, I have to say that the set-up , facilities and clubhouse are an excellent template of how to run a club at this level. The programme is excellent too, with an obvious amount of time and effort put in. Congratulations to the Chairman and the Committee, plus volunteers and supporters. Good luck to you for the remainder of the season and thanks for the frozen afternoon...

Thank you very much for those kind words Kev.
The pitch towards the end was starting to get a bit slippy but at no time did I think it was unplayable or dangerous. Probably not the prettiest of games to watch on a freezing afternoon mind.
We're very pleased with our facilities and the people behind the scenes put in a lot of work to keep everything in as good condition as possible. You're right about the programme as well, a lot of time goes into it and again it is something we pride ourselves on.
Hopefully we can start to sort out some of our more inconsistent performances on the pitch and keep progressing the team forward. We regularly draw 3 figure crowds as well even on a day as miserable as Saturday was.
All the best to yourselves for the rest of the season and in the arduous process of dealing with the insurers.
