Hello all. Have been watching a few pre season games and looking at player movement in the summer and have to say I think PNS, Huntingdon will be strong. Kempston and Potton unknown quantities for myself. As for the local sides. If my old boys Thrapston can score enough goals they can do very well and top four not beyond them as Colin has brought in six/seven ex prem players to go with the better lads from last year. Whitworths could be a real threat if Jarvis and Holley fire and Daren Young at Irchester always produces good sides. Rushden and Higham more of the same in my opinion. If there isnt someone who has seriously strengthened I can see PNS winning it by ten points. Good luck to all.

It'll be massively competitive from start to finish this season. Will be well worth watching.

Nothing in the early results to make me change my view that it is going to be really tight in div 1 this year. Of the 6 games on Saturday 5 of the winners (Irchester, Huntingdon, Thrapston, Rushden & Higham and Eynesbury) beat sides that had finished above them last season.
Stand out result has to be Eynesbury beating On Chenecks 5-1 and with a really decent crowd to boot. Maybe too early to call them contenders, but the side they had out looked quite decent so will be interesting to see how they do in the coming weeks.
Well done to our friends down the road at Huntingdon who overcame a no-show, late arrival and a 2 goal half-time deficit to overcome Kempston who I think will be dark horses themselves.
