Great weekend for both 1st and res teams this weekend. Well done to Paul for bouncing back with a great result also pitting his wits against Mr Ridgeway who was managing the team that night by winning 4 - 1 against Thrapston Res Also 1st team playing against a very well organized Potton team, coming away with a 3 - 1 win, keep up the good work lads. Not forgetting a big thank you to the reserve team players who traveled all the way to Potton to watch the 1st team, all the lads playing were really chuffed with the backing and really appreciated the support during the game. All players showing that we are all in it together as one club to do well for Irchester Utd

What odds on Cas scoring 30+ goals this season?? Gotta be worth £20 punt. Any takers??

Great result Saturday and now got another tough one with Thrapston coming up.
DY know you have lot of time for some people at Huntingdon, but surprise to see them get stuffed by 5 again. Miind you as manager announced they were playing Cambridge United rather than college kids not a great surprise. Lol!

Just to add we accounted for ourselves well for 70 minutes. CRC are a mix of very talented youngsters 6 of the CRC players are registered to play for Cambridge Utd and have been involved with them. Luke Berry,Adam Marriott,Jordon Patrick,RoryMcAuley, Darryl Coakley and Sam Ives all played. Sam Ives who played against us scored 2 goals against Forest Green Saturday. Every player they had has been at a pro club as youngsters at some point. In the end we were soundly beaten by the better and fitter team, we also know that we shall not meet any side in UCL 1 who could match the class outfit that CSC are. . www.cambridge-united.co.uk/page/ProfilesDetails/0,,10423,00.html

we also know that we shall not meet any side in UCL 1 who could match the class outfit that CSC are. . Thats because we dont let reserve sides in our first team league, the FA should never of let them (or Team Bury) into the competition

Thanks for that Pat, however think this tread is for people interested in Irchester, Huntingdon has its own web page, as for Corbyken, think he has his own opinions of the UCL and I have mine

what has Huntingdon got to do with Irchester doing so well?. Give it up Ken (Darren) You dragged me on this thread Darren with you comment about Huntingdon AGAIN. Corbyken and Passit are the same person fact. You are doing a good job at Irchester so there is no need to have a go at Al or us. So come then tell us who CorbyKen is? as it would seem that he is a friend of yours and now a supporter of Irchester. Just by how CorbyKen posts on here suggest he is you. i.e Great result Saturday and now another tough one with Thrapston coming up. Wrote by a person from Corby supporting Irchester and it would seem going to the games. YOU 100%

Sorry IanH, i agree with you, CRC are Cambs Utd Reserves and at a guess i would think that all their first team would be contracted too. The 6 players i mentioned would not have played in this fixture if it were away and played on the Saturday, instead playing it on a Sunday allowed all 6 to be available for both teams. As i said Sam Ives come off Camb Utd's first team bench Saturday and scored 2 goals, then the next day played for CRC against us. there must be 5 Divisions between Cambs Utd first team and us. You had to be there to see how well we did for 70 minutes to judge if we got out classed and bashed by a bunch of College kids.

Pat I am not Darren and sorry DY for making people think I am. Like lots of other people on here happy to debate stuff and would rather keep my identity to myself. Comment made in jest (lol?) and link between Hunts & Irchie obviously is DY. No probs with Hunts who I hope do well but your manager did get himself in a pickle on Peterborough Sports Talk which was quite funny and just having a bit of fun with you. No offence intended and apologies if you are a bit sensitive to some banter

No offence intended and apologies if you are a bit sensitive to some banter obvious only Darren would say that. Ken you are DY. jest ? come on it was an attack and an attempt to poke at us and our manager. Check out Cambridge Utd's website. clearly says CRC are Camb Utd Reserves on there. over half the starting CRC side against us on Sunday are listed on Camb Utd's first team players profiles, hardly what you are trying to say that they are just college kids and that our manager got in a pickle or something. so come on then, who are you if you are not Darren? i do not expect you to reply as its well know and has been mentioned by others that CorbyKen is Darren Young. My last reply on this now sorry to all the other readers as i just wanted it made clear. This is not an attack on Irchester by Huntingdon Town and everything above is my own opinion and not our clubs. Darren grow up man.

Blimey the more I try and say I am not Darren Pat the more you think i am? I AM NOT DARREN YOUNG AND WISH TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS - which bit of that cant you get your head round?
Site should be about a bit of leg pulling here and there without going off on 1. Mind you given the side they put out, maybe your manager wasn't far wrong when he said you were playing Cambridge United

back to the old statements again. i am not here to get into a slagging match with you. I know who you both are and so do many others. We have all seen this so many times before, like when you first come on here as passit to attack Huntingdon and thier chairman, haha. passit/ken had a pop at us and i am returning it. Reel it in. I will put it another way then. I am convinced that passit and corbyken are the same person. This is my opinion and others can make their own minds up, that is if they give a damn, which i am sure most do not.
