Fanastic win 1 - 0 for the lads, lost our shape abit in the 1st half even though I thought we should have come in maybe 2 or 3 up, thrapston worked hard and kept at it till the end but felt we deserved the 3 points game at a time boys, game at a time Glynn and Jeff, that win was for you both

Great result from a real test so far this season... Thrapston looked very good defensively, to be honest there wasn't much in it throughout the game, particularly, as Darren said in the first half, but great result nonetheless!
I have to say also it was very refreshing to see the team spirit so high, particuluary after the game with the gaffer keeping them on the pitch!
Lets carry on building that confidence game by game!

What a great day for the Romans Saturday and DY starting to prove all the doubters wrong. Always got a chance of success when all your players turn up and want to play and then keep their discipline and stay on the pitch. Know its early but looks like a straight fight between Eynesbury & Irchie this season. Thought PNS would struggle to keep up momentum and rest not good enough - happy days!!!!!

Do not write off PNS, i still predict that they will win the league.Whilst Darren is doing a good job so far at Irchester and Eynesbury are going well PNS are getting settled and stronger and will take some beating.Just my opinion so good luck to all.

Having played both Irchester and Eynesbury this season I would not say that either team are a million miles better than the rest of Div 1. Fair play and congratulations to both teams that beat us in our respective games but neither team have the unbeatable aura that PNS had last season and Dav Town had the season before.
Our match against Irchester was the 1st game of the season and they can be strange affairs as we all know. We were without several key players still on holidays etc, and despite the claim of a "comfortable win" myself and my players believed we could still win the match until the final whistle had blown. My strikers do not usually miss that many chances.
Our away match v Eynesbury who I thought were stronger than Irchester was a good game with both teams competeing well, to lose to the winning goal with the last kick of the game was hard to stomach as I felt a draw was a fairer result, but these things happen in football.
Anyway as you said it is early, and it is not how you start but how you finish the season that counts. It is way to early to write off PNS or several other sides in the division, so good luck to all, in what I think will be a very tight league.

Nobody doubted you or your wallet at Irchester . In fact everyone said you would change their futunes me included. Best you up Caswell's wages as i hear Stamford are offering more then the £100 a game he is currently on Did you know that of your 37 post's you made 12 comments about Huntingdon, their players or managers ;D there are 15 other Div 1 sides you know Reel it in. Praising yourself ;D

Your correct about the bank account We have all seen what you can do with no money I know more in my little finger then you do in your whole body about football ;D Remind me about your football career ken. Thats if you ever played One thing is for sure, the money will not last, then what Thats right all the big earners will leave. So you checked out your (ken) posts then ;D Was that to see that a third of your posts mentioned Hunts, Al and our players Mate i know your Ken and as i said others can make their own minds up. Has to be said that you are having a good season to date and i am pleased for the Irchester faithful, so enjoy it while you can. 'Happy days' just a little leg pulling and a bit of banter
