Irchester to walk away with Division 1 apolman. Played and comfortably beaten Eynesbury & Huntingdon. PNS played lots of games and inconsistent, only Thrapston worth bothering about other than that. Will be quite boring.
For a bit of fun with my old sparing partner Pat please notice how we did not rise to your managers infantile wind up on Peterborough Sports Talk. For me it is good to see you actually playing some players from the town you are at and not just dragging same old faces around. Before you pop I know DY does the same but only Jason Vaughan any good from last year and he is back and getting in Romans side

A true statement or not on PST? do all your players play for free then Darren? Dragging the same old faces? You mean Eynesbury players from last season? Beeny and Tim? as they are the only regular ERFC players from last season in our current HTFC starting 11. Comfortable 1st half yes.

So Brown, Rankin, Lawrence, Kingston, Graham, Lenton, Daly etc. etc. not followed you from Eynesbury then? Many reasons why they are not in current starting 11 though eh Pat? Eynesbury don't seem to be missing you and your nomads do they? I do think you could get in top 6 as you were close to doing down the road as full team not too bad. Will keep an eye on your progress from our lofty summit and you can come to our coronation as champions to see what a cup looks like.

Not that old chestnut again Pat/Al - how many times have I told you I am not Corbyken!!! As for playing for free.... what like Mr Bellamy who has a club car, focus isnt it, for starters?? and who knows what Mr Graham was getting!!! so dont go preaching to me on whos on what..... whos on 1st base, WHAT?? no whats on second base? Didn't you tell me to do my talking on the pitch? Taking one game at a time........as for a cup, that would be nice As for Jason Vaughan getting fit again this is only good news for us but don't forget - Mark ( Archy) Dudley, Ben ( the hammer) Reece, Dan ( the man) Richardson, Phil (Lenny) Lawrence, David (you wot!!) McGuire and Sean (quick feet) Hamblin all local lads that have been involved in the 1st team....... ;D As for promotion, PNS, Eynesbury, Thrapston all favorites to win in my book PS just looked at the PST about a win bonus or some s@*t like that!! - very sad - you win, you win - you lose you lose -

Good work Bugs - didn't take long to start that argument.....................
Having only played in 40 minutes against Eynesbury and missing Irchester, I can only pass comment this season on PNS.
And they will steam roll this league if they play half as well as they did against us at home. We never gelled against Eynesbury and only lost out to the odd goal in the 15th minute of injury time. Hunts didn't look like a title winning side as yet and as I said, I've not seen Irchester. But PNS taught us a lesson.

Bug did not start it. Darren/ken did with his comments again. Irchester secretary trys to run their club properly. I hear there is a report going to the FA about continued tapping up of players from a certain person, text messages and phone records to back it up too. So whats it costing you then Darren £1,000 a week? £2,000? Bellamy has not played for Huntingdon this season and is banned from driving. Graham has played less then an hour. Most of the others did follow from Eynesbury but have now moved on. Be sad to see Irchester finish in a promotion spot only not to go up due to ground standards what a waste of money eh? How many local lads playing now? regular starting 11? not involved water boys and subs. Same old same as. Buying the league is fine if you can afford it, nothing wrong there, just hope the ground will be up to standard come the end of the season. PNS will win it. Irchester 2nd favourites, then maybe Thrapston or 6 others for 3rd. Enough said lol.

Can a administrator please tell Patrick that I am not CorbyKen......... Facts are some of the players came through castle rise under 14's and Corby under 18's with me, i like to think they enjoyed playing under me, these lads are now 21 - 22 years of age and probably costs me a the price of a McDonald's every second or third week, is it just that impossible for you to except getting beat on the pitch by a happy meal, sorry to deflate that ego of yours bud Sounds like you need a beer Pat or you have had to much beer already!! As for the ground - your right the chairman is doing the right thing..... Love you too mate

How this site makes me laugh, quiet for so long & then back to the usual ways of having a quick dig at DY. Still it is funny to read some utter tosh while having a coffee in the arvo!
As Darren has said we are all taking it one game at a time and he knows he has the complete support of myself, geoff, glynn and all the others at irchie to do what he thinks is best for the team.
Lets face it, we are all just enjoying not getting a dicking each week as has been the case in the last 3 seasons.
As for local players in the team, well Archy has played about 90% of the games from the start, Danny is involved most weeks, Ben is now settling into the side nicely, everyone knows the class a fully fit Jason Vaughan can bring to the side and Dave McGuire is only just returning from injury.
As for tapping up of players, well I've lost count the number of times I've been told someone is trying to pinch Caswell off our hands, (cant blame anyone for trying that, he is just quality in front of goal!)
We're currently working on the ground requirements but no point in doing anything at the moment until we get planning permisson from the council.

The quick dig was started by Darren posing as CorbyKen having a pop at us yet again and starting this slagging Loz.
I am pleased that Irchester are doing well. A reward for all the hard work over the years for the never say die back room boys. I even said that having DY there would improve you no end before he became your manager.
I also heard that we contacted Geoff and told him about the tapping up rather then just reporting it to the FA.
DY has had numerous pops at us under numerous different names on here.(I am still trying to make sense of the above post?? who is on 1st base blar blar blar???)
As to the poke at Eynesbury not missing us? No one is more pleased then us. Its great that they have found the right management to replace us. Matt is doing a great job there and we hope it continues. Like to think that we left them in a better state to how they were before we arrived. We also left Eynesbury in the correct manner, allowing them plenty of time to find the right replacements.
If you do not like us having a go back, then quit your childish behaviour and rantings CorbyKen and Co.
thread ended .........
