having spoken to Darren on Sunday 29th Oct he was disgusted with the comments made to a referee during the aforesaid desborough game,and will not be playing until the committee member has been dealt with

If he does leave Buckby, i,m sure there will be loads of teams wanting to sign him. He,s a quality player with time on the ball, he,s experience of a much higher level, good for younger players in the team,and he can also score goals.

It must have been bad if Mr Harmon took exception to it. He always seems to have a fair bit to say to officials and its not usually lacking a swear word or three.

Agree with Haydn, clubs would queue up to get Darren in their side. Still not seen a better all round player in this League. Long Buckby could ill afford to lose someone like him from their team. Any more news on this thread anyone?

To keep everyone informed .... Darren broke his ankle at Stotfold on Saturday, he injured it in the 10th minute and played on till the end, only going to hospital on Sunday morning to get it xrayed when he could no longer stand the pain. Everyone at the club wishes him well for a speedy recovery.

Darren broke his ankle at Stotfold on Saturday, he injured it in the 10th minute and played on till the end, only going to hospital on Sunday morning to get it xrayed when he could no longer stand the pain. Everyone at the club wishes him well for a speedy recovery. Darren's a good bloke. Hope he recovers soon.

I agree with that, never nice for anyone to get a bad injury, let alone a quality player like darren. Hope your back soon mate.Good luck.
