Given that Chestnut Avenue has managed to stage games both Monday & Saturday whilst all around us were falling by the wayside, we have to remain hopeful of staging this pivotal fixture next Saturday Jan 9th.
I think that whoever wins the game would have to be considered favourites for the title and in my opinion whoever gets the better of the other over the 2 games will go on and win it.
Having seen Irchester a couple of times they are obviously a highly accomplished side with very few weaknesses and a sackful of games in hand whilst we seem to be able to raise our game for the big ones and have the edge in terms of experience of these occasions.
Should be quite a game and honestly not sure which way it will go - they have a couple of areas that I would look to exploit, but I also think that we have some areas on which they could do likewise - so 0-0 it is then!

From what i see so far it has got to be Irchester for me Tommy. They look solid and with Daren lessons learned from the past, there looks like no let up this season.
Should pull in a decent gate ?
I would have thought a call off and a re-arranged game midweek would suit ?

Irchie already in cup semi and on Saturday will take giant leap towards title. Sorry Vincey boy, Chips & Gravy and Tommy C but your boys are going to take one hell of a beating. No point sitting onn the fence. We are the best team in the league quite comfortably and will beat the flat track PNS bullies who have not beaten anyone this season yet.

Good - the stronger your side the better and it will be good news for us if you break up your very impressive defence me thinks!
I have a £5 bet with Vince that game goes ahead as I think it is almost playable already - we have everyone ship shape and ready for action so looking forward to it.
Just given Plums my scouting report on your side Daren so that is us stuffed!!!

Can only be one of two players i think and i am thinking it is a defender who won the UCL championship with S&L last year. If so, he is top notch.

Clearly Steve Julian then.
Would make sense, as I hear the money has dried up at Rothwell Town...
