So thats it then. Only one UCL Prem club will get promoted. even then, not definite as there are 14 leagues and at the most 12 places most likely though as the northern leagues applicant is unlikely to get in a promotion place, after that it would likely be based on points per game (71% is lowest in a promotion place) table here

Ian - could it mean that 2 teams from 1 league could go up and none from another if it is % based first?
You would have to say that it is great to see so many step 5 clubs with the ambition to move up, including a number from our League.
Flip side is that coming in the bottom 2 of a step 4 league is a disaster as getting back is really tough (e.g Spalding??)

FA have rubber-stamped, via the leagues commitee, that last seasons ruling still applies IE those currently at Step 5/Premier division without an F grading will be first to be demoted (lowest clubs first) and replaced with those clubs eligible for promotion (up to 2)

When will we know who sits in these positions Ian? I believe that this would be different to current relegation issues and would it actually work this time that those who have made little effort off the field will be penalised?

all premier clubs have been inspected by the league, also the potential promotion candidates so every club will know what they need to do to meet respective grade.
Obviously there wouldnt be any point in naming clubs before march 31st, as clubs are busy working away at facilities as we speak.
It is pleasing the amount of work that has been put in to satisfy the gradings, unfortunately some of it has been left to the last minute, but with help, support and money (not always large amounts) can be done.
hopefully, all clubs will reach the grade they feel suits their position as a club soon and we can go back to settling relegation/promotion issues on the park
