Superb wins for St Ives and Long Buckby today so congratulatios to them. Hopefully we can beat Shildon next week but it's a tough draw and we will have to be at our very best to win. Daventry wont find it easy at Brimsdown as it's quite intimidating there but i think we can both do it giving the UCL 4 clubs in the last 16 which might even be thier best ever

Here, here Patemondo.... that would be such good news for the UCL and a fantastic achievement for the clubs concerned. It was great to see former Cogenhoe under 18 Dan Holman play such a leading part in Long Buckbys win yesterday. Quality lad!
All the best to Dav, St Ives, Stotfold and Long Buckby!

A superb day at Tiptree yesterday for everyone connected with St.Ives, a great following and a great performance, to get 7 goals away from home at this stage is some achievement. Fingers crossed for all 4 sides to go into the last 16.

St Ives Town v Stotfold or Shildon
Long Buckby v Dawlish Town or Gresley
Needham Market v Brimsdown Rovers or Daventry Town
Daventry Town have the toughest draw on paper (if they are successful at Enfield next Sunday)
The UCL have already bettered last years 5th round showing of 1 (st Ives) and are guaranteed a 6th round representative, the first time for over 10 years

I really do think that Dav Town can go all the way. There are some really good sides left but on their day do Dav Town have anyone to fear? I think not. Good luck to all the UCL sides.

St Ives Town v Shildon Long Buckby v Gresley Needham Market v Daventry Town
IMO Whitley Bay are favourites, Daventry Town second, they are away at Needham, but Needham are not the side they were
Sky bet seems to agree, although Shildon were good against Stotfold and are worth an each way punt
Whitley Bay 9/2 Daventry Town 11/2 Barwell 6/1 New Mills 7/1 St Ives 10/1 Long Buckby 10/1 Needham Market 10/1 Whitehawk 10/1 Shildon 16/1 Chertsey 16/1 Norton & Stockton 20/1 Armthorpe Welfare 25/1 Marske Utd 25/1 Willand 25/1 Gresley 25/1 Royston 25/1 Wroxham 33/1

Good Luck to all 3 UCL teams in the Vase on Saturday. Hopefully we can get a finalist this year.
It is long overdue.
