Burton Park Wanderers V PNS is off. Plenty of rain in the area yesterday and last night and the pitch is saturated. Tried to bounce a ball on it myself but there is nothing in the pitch. Was really looking forward to seeing Tommy C and the lads but looks like they have had a lucky escape today

I suspect your right as our left back wasn't available yesterday.
Instead took in Alconbury v Rutland Rangers in the Peterborough League Cup QF and Rutland looked quite impressive. They are probably the best team in that League and would hold their own if they were ever able to come up to the UCL.
Then went onto Huntingdon v Eynesbury where Eynesbury were comfortably the better side once the game had settled down and ran out worthy winners - they will be quite a test for us next week at Chestnut Avenue if the weather behaves itself (note to Weather God: stop raining / snowing / freezing on a Friday please)
