With no direspect to Raunds who have excellent facillites ie the club house changing rooms etc but the playing pitch isn't the greatest this season and it has been chosen to host this years Lower Junior Cup Final between PNS RES and Bugbrooke RES surely the final should be played on a good surface?

The NFA choose the ground.. think its based on location ie even distance for both clubs to travel?

what about Kettering? just don't think its fair the the senior cup get Rushden and Diamonds and Lower up gets Raunds, nothing against Raunds though

I it's probably to do with the charge to hire the facility. Kettering would probably charge a three figure amount, and Rushden & D the same for just the number one pitch.
