News coming out of the club today is that current player and centre half stalwart Andy Greensmith has agreed to become Kev's number 2 until the end of the season. Greeny was helping the last manager (Scully) out with bits and bobs in training etc but has now accepted on a official basis until the end of season and the club are hopeful of beyond that also. Greeny, has played for UCL clubs including BPW,Desboro, Corinths, Hunts and Irchester and had a spell early in his career with Rothwell Town. In his day ( a very long time ago ;D) he was a very good and well respected combative central midfielder and defender.. Greeny, will continue to play whilst in his new role. Good luck Greendog Kenny Gordon remains as Director of Football and i am delighted to say that we are struggling to get rid of Scully who seems to be at more BPW matches than he was before Happy days CMON THE WANDERERS ;D

The club are over the moon about Andy accepting the role, even if its to get Kenny out of the dug out to control the new man on the mike. Over recent weeks more and more bad news has been coming out of clubs regarding money and i really don't think its going to end there, In my eyes there is a real possibility of a few clubs disappearing which would be tragic. I hope we have Identified this early at Burton and have acted accordingly looking at lads that are coming through the ranks and other young local talent. As has been said before Bugbrooke for me are a great model for clubs to take but i am sure there are more we have just identified them as a blue print. this isn't a five Min job but shall we say 90% of the foundations have been put in place over the last year. Andy accepting this role is just another step in the right direction,A good club man who knows his stuff at the right age. Next role to fill Combi Manager or no 2ish.

I am sure those comments about us will go down well. But there is plenty more to do - the bar, entrance, ground grading and raising the profile all needs to be completed, and the pre-season tournament should get some extra funding in to assist.
Best of luck. And get rid of that Scully lad, he's clueless......................
