Having mentioned this topic last season, i feel the need to mention it again. The Hunts FA have again decided to play a Cup Final at a large ground......Huntingdon Town . This is by no means any disrespect to Huntingdon Town FC but this does'nt really give the players any incentive to reach the final if small venues are constantly being used to stage such a major competition in the area. Again as i've already mentioned, why cant such a final be staged at Peterborough United FC if teams like Yaxey & AFC Fletton are allowed to play in the competition when they are only couple of miles away from Peterborough's ground itself ?? Peterborough Northern Star enter Northants Cup competitons & are not even based in Northamptonshire but they do have the chance to play at grounds like Rushden & Diamonds & Northampton Town so surely the Hunts FA can come up with a solution to play at a larger venue. Examples for you: Suffolk FA finals are played at Ipswich Town FC. Norfolk FA finals are played at Norwich City FC. Northants FA finals are played at Rushden & Diamonds FC / Northampton Town FC. Bedfordshire finals are played at Bedford Town FC / Luton Town FC. Cambridgeshire Finals are played at Cambridge United FC / Cambridge City FC. Lincolnshire finals are played at Lincoln City / Boston United FC. HUNTS FA FINALS ARE PLAYED AT......UCL or Cambs League grounds !!!! Am i alone in thinking that the Hunts FA should do everything they can to stage the final at Peterborough United ?? Your thoughts please.
