I recently heard that Lee Herbert (think this is correct) has the 1st team job at Bugbrooke, i believe he has been managing Standens Barn on Sundays???

My understanding is as follows: Lee Herbert and Barry Mead are the new co-managers of Bugbrooke, my knowledge on who they are is pretty limited, hearsay from a friend is that all previous players (1st team) have left the club and many are intending to move to sileby rangers ~(the closest div 1 team i guess?), however the new managers have managed sunday league teams, so players from these sides i presume will be the new BSMFC, i guess the new managers deserve a chance, although if players are moving to sileby they are likely to be strong next season, gerrard 720, has my source been reasonably accurate?

Barry Mead is a top man and I like him. I dont know Lee Herbert. As for "all previous players" - there will be many that choose to stay and ply their trade at Bugbrooke - its a local club and a vast amount of the players are very close by, so naturally, wont be looking to move on. (thats over 4 adult teams and masses of youth, plus Under 18's)
I don't think its unreasonable to suggest that new managers will be looking to bring in many a quality player through their relationships - I assume every manager at every club is doing the same thing in June..............
As for the Sileby thing - I guess its the same at every club - players move and want to move for countless reasons and I certainly don't speak for any of the BSMFC actually stating they are moving anywhere as yet - that's their choice. But even if there was a mass exodus of players to Sileby or anywhere else - I am sure they'll get to pre-season and have to prove they deserve a place, same as anyone else.
I'm not prepared to go into the why's and where for's of whats happened at BSMFC in the past 3 months - it's history now and considering I like Meady, I have no intention of wishing him anything other than luck in his role. I know he's a keen and decent guy.

Herbs and Mead!
add a VW camper van and some good BBQ food and it sounds like a perfect holiday for Newquay surfers.
In all seriousness Lee and Barry (who I also know and like) you have joined a great club and I hope you are as happy there as I was. All the best for the forthcoming season

from what i hear Petts has only got turnbull involved because they want the money that comes with the sponsor that was going to be at Bugbrooke and has also now gone to Sileby because he and turnbull come as a package !!!!

Be interesting to see what Tad has to say but seems a good move for all parties. I hear the approach was from Tad to Sileby to get involved.

Neptune and UCL Watcher: I think you both know me well enough
Toffeeboy: I dont know where you get your info from, but thats embarrasing you need to get out more. Or stay in and learn to read because the link above doesnt mention a sponsor.
Hopeyouwin: So do I!................................... You are correct it is a very good move for all parties and we are all excited about the coming season. As for who contacted who, Gary and I have always had a good relationship and have become friends, what has happened is just a progression of that relationship and recent events.
Both Bugbrooke and Sileby have fallen short over the last few years and we believe the 2 of us can bring together a strong team of Northamptonshire based players to compete in the ever improving UCL Division 1.

Glad to see Tad at Sileby, Gary's a great guy but when it comes to the verbal he tends to step back, really looking forward to this season, several positions need to be strengthend. Maybe even promotion which the facilities deserve

Well if as you say your a fan, the problems at the back, keepers who have very little knowledge of angles, fail to command their areas use the advantages they have to allow the defence some respite, the young lads either side were shattered in the final games of the season. The two lads in the centre need better understanding between each other and not go walkabout. A midfield general, Shane had his good points but in short bursts

If Worley is going to the badgers then I wish him all the best, he has given me some great entertainment. well danger, as I said if your defence doesn't concede, opportunities from open play, set pieces and corners you only need one to go in and you have the points. The defence is the key, they don't score you have a minimum of one point, not pretty but effective
