''burton, whits and onley bottom 3, whits signing all sunday morning valleybrook side, burton still alot of young guns onley poor, top 3 thrapston, sileby and R & H''
since valleybrooke has pretty much won everything for the last 3 years its not a bad collection of players to have at a club. commited lads and will play for eachother.
Eynesbury Kempston, Sileby Dark horse = whits.
Thrapston have signed alot of good individuals but can they play well as a team? time will tell.....

Having seen the comings and goings newsletter, it is difficult to judge if any team is going to come out of the pack and change last seasons order of things.
I expect Buckingham to be a lot better if they can keep McCormick and Bines playing and Huntingdon have improved their squad and will be up there if Jamie Graham keeps playing and scoring. Be interesting to see what Sileby do - They will be more competitive this year but I am not sure if they will make top 3?
Of last years top sides ONC will struggle to replace the lads that have and will leave and that leaves Eynesbury who have just acquired our big Polish keeper Marcin and Kempston if their manager can hold himself together!

Sileby is the interesting one Tom defo.. Spose we'll have an idea by 5 clock 2day. I can't see past Joe's team as the team to beat. Having worked closely with Joe on a couple of occasions over the years he is without doubt the best manager i have worked with and i would be gob smacked if he does not put something together that goes close... and for not very much money either, if any

Will be interesting - from what I know about some of the signings Thrapston have made it does not stand out as the side to beat, but Joe has a good record of getting the most out of what he has at his disposal.
I think Whitworths will also finish higher than last year

I imagine Whitworths will be hoping so too. Since making history a few years ago they have dipped massively on the field. Having said that they have made great strides off it... but fans want results, they don't always see the off field progress being made. Would absolutely love to see BPW break the shackles of bottom of the table material and they have their best chance in years to do so. . We will see if Kev can deliver. Much work still needed at the club but it is making very good progress within the clubs new ethos of the last year or so of going from a team where good players go to retire doing the graveyard shift to a club that is full of youth and promise. Come on the Wanderers

Harborough Town have signed Martin Anderson from Medbourne. They paid him £250 to sign on for them!! Obviously have got some cash to spend.

Hard to know what to believe sometimes. I spoke to a player during the summer who said that he had been pre season training with Hboro and he was not impressed. He said they looked mince and thought they would struggle in division one Perhaps he just a bit disgruntled at not getting in or his judgement is way off the mark, because it would seem they are going to be a force this season..

not sure where these rumours come from really... Harborough havent signed the lad, and if they were to sign anyone I can assure anyone no fees would be involved!!!!
Not sure who the lad was that trained, he didnt play any friendlies that much i can confirm, and we only had a couple of other lads train once or twice... from last years squad of players we have only added two players in addition to the under 18s

Just a quick note on the Harborough Town set up.
Fantastic place. Great hospitality, quality facilities and even a club shop......................
Warming, obviously well backed in the town and they were decent to us on Saturday.
On a footballing front - they work tirelessly for each other, are well organised in midfield and will battle hard and dig deep. They didn't play flowing crisp football against us, but they got a result and took the chances they were given.

With reference to the above - Their really are some TITS about. Why do people get off on just making some random stuff up to put on here?? I can assure the guest who wrote this that HTFC currently have not signed Martin Anderson, and if they were, they wouldnt be paying 1 single penny - Harborough Town are massively in debt (over £100k) and will not be paying anyone at all this season or next i presume unless Abromovich sets sail down the river welland.
Its great to hear other peoples comments and views (thanks gerrard720) whether they are positive or negative but total lies is just pointless.
