Does anyone know when the League and Cup fixture lists will be available? I represent Harborough Town and am trying to gauge how many mid week games there will be (this is somewhat new to use boys....and im wondering how it will affect our training schedules)

i am unsure of the dates, however with regards to midweek it depends on the weather, the league can play the majority of games on the weekend, if you include boxing day and bank holiday fixtures, your luck in the cup and the level of snow usually dictates the number of night games you have, but generally for the first 4-5 months it will be cup games only

Great info - Thanks guys. Are the majority played early and late in the season due to pitch conditions?

They are oficially being released this Friday so should appear on Mitoo after all club officials have received an e-mail with the fixtures.

Who sorts the fixtures out?
Eynesbury & St Neots both playing away on the Boxing Day fixture and both at home on the Easter Monday fixture.
Wouldn't it make sense to have one at home on Boxing Day & one at home on Easter Monday so the neutral locals can watch both local derbies?

Have to agree with lineoh. Whilst i can understand the difficulties in arranging fixtures on boxing day and easter monday with as little travelling as possible, surely by having Sileby against ONC as opposed to Whitworth, and having Olney against Whitworth, you would have at least one true derby as opposed to two fixtures with no real meaning. There is not a massive travel distance increase for those teams involved either!

Don't forget clubs are asked who their preferred opponents are on those dates and perhaps want to avoid some !

Might have something to do with pboro based players lineoh? Or maybe they are your closest team? anyway your at home right? If you had a decent ground then you would be playing a more local side, like Holbeach. IN THE PREM hahahaha

Well p'borohere i have visited nearly ALL Premier league grounds and without bias i can say that our ground beats a number of them hands down.... Huntingdon will be our closest team yes but you can hardly say its a local derby which takes the edge of what Boxing Day Fixtures are about..... And please dont get me started on that naff ground Grading thingy !!!!

I don't know what the point of asking clubs for their preferences is as i know that Whitworths requested Thrapston and Thrapston requested Whitworths for boxing day, and we end up with Sileby! On top of that our first home fixture is September 11th, looks like Friday night fixtures to be arranged to improve income from our fixture list this season.
