Northampton ON Chenecks 1 Northampton Sileby Rangers 2 Olney Town 2 Bugbrooke St Michaels 3 Wootton Blue Cross 0 Bourne Town 4
Good derby win for Sileby!!
Olney were 2-0 up against Bugbrooke and it could have been 6, they were cruising. Then 3 minutes before half time the centre forward petulantly stamped on a Badgers defender - A Red Card that has cost his side dearly in the 2nd half - Silly boy should be publicly flogged on Olney market square!!
Wootton Blue Cross, with or without Davenport??, concede 4 at home against struggling Bourne!

Northampton ON Chenecks 1 Northampton Sileby Rangers 2 Good derby win for Sileby!! On their 2nd half showing i imagine ON will be aggrieved they didnt get a point out of the game. If Sileby had taken their chances could have been 3 up at h-t. ON had plenty of possesion and territory in second half but too often pumped in the high ball, which was easily dealt with by centre halves and keeper. Turning point was a five minute spell where ON missed a one on one chance and then forced the Sileby keeper into making an excellent save.....the winning goal coming moments later. 3 wins out of 4 on the road......great start to the season

I saw Olneys game against Bugbrooke and I thought they were very unlucky! There were 3 red cards in the gam and it could have been more. Olney played some very nice football! however Bugbrooke took advantage of their indiscipline. Great game!
