it looks like the first management sacking is just getting a little closer down the Victoria mill ground, Home of Whitworths played 5 lost 5, players leaving already that came in over the summer period, Dan spaughton back to boro, carvel Jarvis cogenhoe. When you hear that Steve medlin is had enough then sorry its spells DISASTER, looking good for CR to get the job then Interesting this will be to watch

CR? I am not sure he would be such a popular choice or have the know-how to bring the good lads back to Whitworths with no money. Think i know a man who could though and is very popular with many players in the Welly and surrounding area The return of Scully would be my tip to save the London Rd outfit, with Meds and Freeman lending a hand... OOh watch this space

Did hear that Scully was asked to take on the Kettering u18s by a good mate of his in the summer but couldn't commit because of studies. I do know that he would have loved the job and been good at it. As for the top job at Kettering, you may well mention it tongue in cheek but if Morrel Maison is the Savior then I'd rather Scully any day of the week

Its a sad day if your not getting slated. When your the manager, that's the special perk of the job My Mum used to say to me 'There's only one thing worse than being spoke about and that's not being spoken about' Good Ole Mum ;D

I can confirm that Steve Bicknell has resigned as Wellingborough Whitworth FC First team manager. Wellingborough Whitworth FC thank Steve FOR HIS commitment during his time as Manager and hope to see him playing for the Reserves soon.

No, scully is not the answer! Whitworths have brought in Stephen Sargent who has a great relationship with local lads and over time him and matty will build again. Whits have been so unlucky losing player after player - mainly due to lack of managerial respect and authority. You cant let 1st team players leave and not replace them, let alone 7 1st team players leave! I hope they can turn things around only time will tell!

Bloody hell John Smith you are going to get me into trouble. Them days are gone I already have a job thanks and Whitworths is the past for me. I would agree that Sargey and Matty are great lads and absolutely the right guys for the job.
