No really, you've more than adequately given me the answer I was looking for.
As for being a "moron", many clubs have referees associated with them, and as such are not deemed sufficiently "independant" to make the call. Also, unless the referee in question lives on the half way line of your pitch, he couldn't really make that decision, now could he? So be careful when using the term "moron" as it can quite easily turn self -fulfilling.

If they are they would not be allowed to officiate just incase they are biased. And as I said Daventry was fog bound so he wouldn't have needed to go to the half way line. And as I also said I dont know if an independant local referee was contacted. As for self-fulfilling....I think your comments says it all By the way you seem to be getting your posting rate up moaning about Fords. Where do YOUR loyalties lie?
