With rumour a-foot of division one folding due to lack of teams in the Ridgeons Leagues, what are peoples thoughts on who would change allegiances to the UCL and would it make the league stronger?
Obvious teams to switch would be Godmanchester Rovers and March Town, but who else do you think would look at joining them if any?

Were March Town not in the UCL many moons ago? Certainly a team in that area Ramsey Town were. Seems like a shame and a bit of shock that the league is struggling with so many decent teams and set ups in the area?

Ramsey Town 100% want to rejoin. Would be great to see them back in the UCL. Alconbury from Peterborough League also but much depends where they finish in the league. Godmanchester Rovers 50/50 to join if Ridgeons League folds. Many other teams in the Ridgeons League Division 1 will go back down to their respective county step 7 feeder leagues. Such a shame but many clubs cant afford to go up into the Ridgeons League or the UCL due to ridiculous FA measures required to go up. Unless lower league clubs have someone who can pump a decent amount of cash into their club, many will only stay at Step 7 level.

I think it would be good to see some new teams in the league, as many as possible in my view. If Goddy didnt join UCL then where would they go? Back in to Kershaw league? Seems a bit of waste after all the hard work that has gone on getting them established.
Surely the UCL would do all it can to attract new teams in to the league, and a division one with say 20 or 22 teams would mean definate promotion AND relegation.
