well thats a turn up not beating Rushden is the pressure starting to grow or is the fact that both the main men run the great Sunday league teams mean everything is ok?

As you've dangled your bait and no-one as yet has bit, allow me a nibble. The 2 'main men' as you put it are involved in successful Sunday teams (1 more successful than the other I might add) as is the other 'co-manager' Meds. These clubs, albeit Sunday league, have taken a lot of time to develop and their success has been built on quality young players, patience, good organisation and team spirit. The intention is that Whitworths share the same foundations and develop into a club to contest league titles for the next few years at least. I dont doubt for a minute that any other club is doing anything different and have any less aspirations. As I am sure youre aware, a good football club is built from within first and for long term success it has to be stable throughout the club. That is the intention at Whitworths. The 3 managers have a good relationship and the players are continually learning about each others ways, positive and negative. There has been, and will be, a lot of inconsistent performances throughout the season so with regard to Rushden and Higham, Whitworths can accept the defeats and will enjoy the victories.
