I'm sure Potton are sick of the site of Thrapston by now conceding 6 to go with the 7 in reverse fixture. Ended up 6-2 to Thrapston. Good game and Potton did make a game of it and probably were a bit better than scoreline suggests.
Bizzare moment of the day again surrounds the officials. Thrapston denied a goal that was clearly 18 inches (min) over the line after coming down off bar. Everyone saw it, players, spectators, girl in tea bar, punter in bar, the squirrell ( wot a view he had), apart from the officials.
Eye test and Atkins diet would be my recomendation to the ref and his asst!!
Took the kids who raved about the game all the way home. Well done to both sides for a quality game.
